I used Signature FS because it was easy to explain to my passengers where to meet (just off the exit ramp) and I am happy to say that Signature has earned my business from now on!! I called ahead and found out what the fees were and min. fuel purchase, etc. On my short hop to KC, I didn't burn enough fuel to buy the minimum fuel, but they waived the fees anyway! The courtesy van dropped me off at my meeting site across the river. And they didn't even blink or frown when my passengers invaded the lobby (3 adults and 4 kids under the age of 7) I was very pleased with the high standard of service from everyone @ Signature FS. They do a wonderful job!

On September 14-15, due to a faulty ignition switch, we needed to spend and extra day at KMKC. The Signature folks were great in giving us transportation to and from our hotel, and providing tips about places to eat, etc. Of special note was the great work done by the maintenance crew (Rick and Dave), who went to extraordinary efforts to get us back on our trip promptly. Only sour notes were the fuel prices (way too high), and their crazy policy of wanting to charge me $95 to fill one of my tires with air.

I spent the day Saturday flying special Challenge Air kids out of the Signature ramp. About 100 round trip flights were made. The ramp guys did a fantastic job of parking us and keeping things safe while still taking care of the "big boys". They cleared out the hangar for the event and were super hosts. THANKS!

I have been flying into MKC for almost ten years not to mention that I learned to fly at the airport. I had a friend meet me at Signature so I could take him and his son to scout camp. I dropped in, parked my plane, went inside and purchased a water, greeted my friends and as I headed towards the door was informed that I owed a handling fee. I asked when this started and why and received a "that's our policy" statement. I informed them that they had handled nothing for me, but just got the policy statement again. Mind you, as others have mentioned, she was very nice and polite, but nobody greeted me on the ramp or even at the door. What was I paying for? This is a public airport owned by the City that I pay taxes in and she could not even say if the charge was for the City or just Signature. Sorry to ramble, it breaks my heart that I do not feel welcome to land at the airport that I have promoted, learned to fly at, attended events like Airshows and the Airline History Museum.

Have been down multiple times recently, and the line service is the best I have seen. On the mark, helpful, and incredibly friendly, these guys have made my time in KC great! Keep up the good work!

Signature's high fuel prices and their "handling fee" are hard to swallow, but I was appreciative that they put my Bonanza in their hangar during an overnight storm (at no extra charge and without me requesting it). Brandy at the desk and the line guys were friendly and helpful.

Maybe it was just me and a late night visit -- but I was unimpressed during a recent visit. Even with previous arrangements, announcements on the ramp frequency and all of our lights on -- no one helped us park, unload, find our car, etc. It took a half hour to get underway. Upon our return, service was nicer in the afternoon with what seemed like people happier to have my (admittedly limited) business.

Good FBO service. We started with our nose a bit out of joint because no one came to help us park our single piston, the explanation was "dinner break". OTOH we were unannounced and never spoke on the ground frequency, and it was dark out, so I can see how they missed us. Once we were parked everything went fine. Great help finding a hotel and a suggestion for dinner, a ride to the hotel, quick fueling and got us going efficiently in the morning. Would gladly go back.

Stopped by EB twice this week, once overnight. GREAT service met by the manager and welcomed to MKC. Offered a great discount on fuel, free courtesy van to downtown hotel, and offered to put Baron in hangar for night if weather dictated...Great Service!!!!

I was sad to hear that EB would be switching over to the Signature brand in the coming months. They were the remnants of a great, iconic name in general aviation. We stopped here on the way across the country so our boys could have some real Kansas City BBQ. EB dropped us at Jack Stack's, and when it turned out it was too long a wait for a table they zipped back to pick us up at the take-away window. We had our delicious lunch in their break room. It required multiple calls to the front desk and they could not have been more pleasant and friendly.Response from Patrick Sniffen, Vice-President of Marketing, Executive Beechcraft Colin, Thanks for your comments on EB, just to clarify, Executive Beechcraft will remain with our MRO services; we are fully supporting the growth of our maintenance presence at all of the EB locations. Only FBO services will change to Signature. Hope you'll give us a try again when you come to MKC.

We do business in KC and fly into Executive Beechcraft in our 182S and they treat us like we are in a Lear 65 (almost). Wonderful FBO. Gas is higher but the service is tops and they can't work for free. Our clients are always impressed when we have quick meetings at the facility.

I was in over new years day. As I taxied up in my 182 a lineman was out to park us. He offered to help us with our bags but there were four of us so we had that handled. They gave us a ride to our hotel and picked us up the next day. I elected to spend the money to hangar the plane overnight for $60. Well worth it to keep the ladies warm when we got into the plane. The woman behind the counter was friendly and saw to our needs.

I flew in last week for a 5 day convention at the Westin. Based on some comments on AirNav, I was apprehensive to dock at Exec Beech. Arriving in an Archer at some places means proportionate service. On Monday, we taxied up to a welcoming flight line director, and in 30 secs., their courtesy van appeared. I told the line Director to go ahead and service an incoming turbine, but she insisted that all planes receive same treatment. The line person and van driver helped put on plane cover as we would be parked for 5 days. We were whisked to the FBO for registration and then to the Hotel, some 3 miles away. Time from landing to hotel, 15 mins. As weather was coming I requested tie down, they handled that. On Sat. morning and they picked us up at hotel for return trip. My bill was fuel and $15 per night parking, less than parking at hotel. Factor in well deserved tips for staff and this experience was worth all and then some. I am returning. Highly recommend.

Flew in to Kansas City for the NCAA Men’s basketball game on a Saturday. Had parked here several times before but was surprised when the ramp personal told me there was a parking fee. He said it was 2. I said 2 dollars and he said no 200 and I could offset it by purchasing fuel. The plane did not even hold that amount of fuel. We promptly moved away from their high priced real estate and found some free parking not far away. Will never do business with Executive Beech again.

This is a cool airport to fly into--the view is great. The FBO made all of our hotel and transportation arrangements and offered to put our plane in a hangar in case of a bad storm. This is a great feature when flying in the Midwest during storm season.
