The guys at KMOR could not have been nicer and more efficient from refueling, to loaning me a crew car to letting me use all the very nice new facilities, including free Wi-Fi. The pilot's lounge chairs are wonderful! Average fuel prices, but above average service for me and my Saratoga.

I intentionally stopped in so I could meet Mama Bird (yes, she is still working at 102) and buy an autographed copy of her book. We received great service along with some valuable information on IFR routing suggestions, to preclude departure control from running us over the mountains in the adverse weather. This airport is exceptionally clean, but I have one warning, if you enter the Pilot's Lounge. My wife discovered the new, fully reclining, leather, Captain's chairs placed directly in front of a huge flat panel TV. I had a heck of a time getting her out of the lounge and back into the airplane.

I have had the opportunity to stop at KMOR two times in the last year. Last January flying a Cherokee to Little Rock, and two months ago in a T-34. Both times I have found the staff at the field to be very friendly and professional! I would not hesitate to stop there again!!!

Flew in as an alternative to Gatlinburg. Personnel helped us get fuel, and drove our stuff and us to the FBO and rental car from the parking spaces. They are working on a new FBO building that looks very nice.

Happy Birthday Mama Bird! Evelyn Bryan Johnson turned 100 years old today November 4th 2009. God Bless and Happy Landings!

If you fly into Morristown you should stop by and say hello to Evelyn Johnson. She is the manager of the airport and is turning 100 in November. She holds the record for most hours flown by a female, and is an aviation icon.

FBO is simple yet people are quite accommodating. Pretty setting for the airport & runway. Enterprise is 1/2 mile away.
