As a 25+ year customer, having arrived in single engine piston and mid-size jets, I would like to commend the entire staff, past and present, for the consistent world class service I have received. The line staff is eager to please and the customer service staff is some of the best I have experienced in over 40 years of flying. Thanks for a job well done!

I can't really share the positive reviews listed here. We landed our Cirrus, called the FBO on the radio and asked for parking. The line boys were hanging out in front of the hangar and completely ignored us. We almost taxied into them until one guy finally started to run and show us a parking spot that we passed before. The line boy with the golf cart came out to our plane and just drove away again when we were done packing our stuff and we had to walk, find the FBO building and exit ourselves while the line boys (3 of them) were back into their chatting in the main hangar. This is really one of the worst FBOs I've been in a while...

I've flown into Del Monte in a 182 and my SR22 and have been treated right both times. Friendly staff, good crew car availability and a beautiful FBO. Grab the crew car or a rental and head to Paprika Cafe in town for some of the best Lebanese food in Northern California.

Flew into Del Monte on Sunday 12-30 for a daytrip visit to Monterey and Carmel. I'd called the day before, and the staff had a Hertz rental car ready on the ramp for us, at a great price ($30 for the day.) Ramp fees for piston singles are $25, waived with 15 gallons of fuel, so we bought 15 gallons at a pricey $6.89/gallon. (But this is Monterey...There's no such thing as cheap gas.) The FBO staff was helpful and friendly, and the FBO itself is simply gorgeous inside. Definitely one of the nicest interiors in any FBO I've seen.

Flew in on Sunday Oct. 7 with passengers new to GA. On landing my Piper Arrow nose wheel had a flat tire. The staff were wonderful. Towed the plane to the maintenance hangar, called the mechanic out on a Sunday, provided free use of the conference room and a crew car to go into town for lunch all with care, concern and courtesy. Definitely recommend them over the Jet Center if you fly into KMRY.

They charge for newspapers? I'm sorry, but at $7 a gallon, I think you can throw in a USA today. I've been to MJC several times and here once, I'm not coming back to DMA.

Flew in to KMRY for the MotoGP race at Laguna Seca raceway on 7/29/2012. Arrived later than I expected due to weather. When I arrived the linesman treated us like royalty even though I was only in a 182. When I got into the beautiful lounge, Angelica was behind the counter and was incredibly helpful in coordinating my helicopter charter to the track. While waiting for the charter, both Angelica and Jessa were busy trying to make sure I had options to get to the track on time since the charter was already booked full. Angelica kept us company during the wait and even had a couple of complimentary tickets to the race for us! Fantastic group of employees and an excellent operation. Will definitely return to Del Monte Aviation!!!

I asked for a fill up in my 182 to avoid the ramp fee while I went to eat. They called me a cab ($7-$8 each way) to go to Tarpy's under the approach end of 28L. I made the mistake of trusting them and didn't check my receipt. When I got home I noticed the receipt was for Jet A, called Del Monte and was told they'd check the fuel ticket in the morning. The next afternoon they emailed me saying that the fuel ticket didn't say 100LL, but they're sure they did it right. Then they charged my credit card which they kept on file for the 100LL purchase (around $5 more on a 15 gal purchase or .32/gal), never sent me a new invoice, and I'm still waiting for the credit card refund on the Jet A invoice, which is supposed to come in a few days. Next time I'll try the other FBO on the field, or ask ground again about transient parking.Response from Rachel Lynn, Del Monte Aviation We are sorry that Mr. Fry had a bad experience. We apologized for the error and Mr. Fry was contacted by our customer service supervisor 1 day after receiving his phone call, and subsequently by our customer service manager the following day, to assure him we were on top of his issue and working to make sure he got his credit. Unfortunately we have no control over credit card companies issuing credits in a timely manner. When Mr. Fry again emailed our customer service manager, we immediately had our accounting manager contact him to assure him a credit was issued. Del Monte Aviation addressed his complaint in a timely manner. We strive to make sure our customers get the utmost in customer service and unfortunately mistakes happen and sometimes things are not perfect. Again Mr. Fry we are sorry your experience was not up to your expectations and you can certainly choose to go wherever you feel you need to for future services at the Monterey Airport.

Great facility. Treated me very well in my 182. Less than 1 mile final the tower pulled a Brasilia in front of me so I had to go around - adding grief to my passengers who had been without a potty stop for 3 1/2 hours. FBO must have heard my complaint to ATC because there was a driver waiting when we pulled onto the ramp to run the girls to the lady's room. Now that is special service.

Self-service fuel (current price $4.90/gal) is available at Monterey on the southeast ramp. Just ask Ground for taxi to the southeast ramp.

Another great stop at MRY with continued excellent service, including a free crew car, from Anastasia and the staff at Del Monte. A change in the fueling request for a night departure was cheerfully and easily accommodated with less than an hours notice. The facilities remain excellent and spotless. MRY is always an enjoyable stop in large part because of the great start I get by using this FBO. There are just no hassles when going here, which really means a lot.

As a 10+ year customer of Del Monte Aviation, I am grateful to have such a high quality FBO at my home airport. We are lucky to enjoy this level of experience and professionalism. If you drop by in the morning, say high to Warren - you won't find a more experienced professional anywhere. He is admired and respected both by customers and co-workers.

Great first experience with Del Monte! I was just stopping in for lunch at Golden Tee in a 172. Even though they were very busy with the VIPs who had arrived for the Pro-Am tournament at Pebble Beach, they still gave me the full treatment -- felt like I had just flown in on a Citation X. Fuel tanks were filled as requested, and there was no delay or hassle when I returned for departure. Great FBO! I'll certainly be going back when I'm in Monterey.

Really great amenities and interior. Ramp fee as of 2011 is $25, but in this case we are not surprised.

I have used this FBO about 15 times -- twice last weekend -- and have never had anything but attentive, helpful staff and my car waiting for me. On the way out, the plane is always fueled and ready as expected. I love the way they bring you "front and center" on the ramp and then reposition the plane after you unload: even if you're not in a movie star plane...

Arrived in a 58 Baron N7208V with 4 passengers on a Saturday. Flawless coordination of rental car pulling up as we shut down. Marilyn Sullivan and crew did a wonderful job of making me feel welcome, including coordinating crew hotel room loan of a crew car for the afternoon. Smooth departure as well. Thanks!!

Absolutely outstanding! What a pleasure to fly in, jump in a crew car, play a round of golf, and fly out. So much ease, I wish all airports/FBOs were so well structured; in all respects. The staff at Del Monte is top notch, and the controllers at MRY are as well. Definitely worth paying a little more for gas and save drive time from other nearby airports. The traffic on Hwy 1 and 68 can get ugly. You might have to pick up and IFR clearance because of perpetual clouds, but when it clears out... Beautiful.

First time back to Monterey since Del Monte took over from Million Air, and as with previous flights they were excellent. From the service to the perks, they make a little 172 pilot and passengers feel like bigshots. Worth the extra money in gas for everything they do, will continue to use them as my MRY stop.

The Del Monte FBO is beautiful and relaxing. We got a spotless red Ford as a crew car so we could drive into town. The folks behind the desk were all very caring and helpful, but I especially wanted to call out Neil the lineman and thank him for driving the tug for us when we were having trouble on the taxiway. My wife and I were quite favorably impressed! Thanks guys!
