I don't know if it's just me, but almost every time I have an appointment to fly, the instructor shows up late or no show at all.

I have been a customer of Brett Aviation for many years. It has been an honor to get to know All of the personnel there. The instructors are top notch and truly care about the training their students receive. Your safety is their number one concern. They take you under their wing, and welcome you as part of the Brett Aviation family. The Christmas party with all of the homemade food is a nice touch. Keep up the good work...........Fair Skies and Tail Winds.......

I've been trying to get a refund of a block account balance from this school for months. After many calls and letters, only one was ever returned, with an apology and promise to send a check, which never arrived. We have a small claims court date in January...

Brett is a great school to train at. Some of the best instructors I have encountered have been there! However, the major negative with Brett is the lack/inability to keep a constant fleet of Cessna Skyhawk 172SP's. My training took an extra two months longer due to aircraft loss and turnover. For a club that is established and that has been in business for a long time, it is beyond my comprehension why they do not own their own fleet. Because of this fact I have had to go else where for follow on training. This school has the potential to be one of the finest in the Mid-Atlantic region if they were to revamp their business model.

I'm a private pilot for about a year now and working on my instrument rating. Been to a few other flight schools and Brett has been the best so far. They have a weather room and an actual classroom and a simulator, which really cuts back on the costs of flight training also multiple types of aircraft. I have never known them to be closed no matter what the weather is, so not really sure what the previous comment is about.

I've been a student pilot working on my private pilot certificate since April of 2007. I come to Brett Aviation three days a week and have come on some weekends. I've had the most positive experiences that I could have had there. Everyone that works there is friendly and outgoing. They have a very useful WSI weather machine, a flight dispatcher, they are a part 141 school, and they have a classroom and teach ground schools. I am almost complete with my training and I will defiantly come back for my instrument training. I might also say that I work for a Large DoD contractor in the area and I have many fellow employees that come here for the professional training. Thanks Brett!

Visited MTN this past weekend, found I needed an updated set of approach plates/IFR Chart. FBO sent me to "the flight school in the next building" (only FBO in the region without local charts/plates!). Went to ‘Brett Aviation' only to find them closed, doors locked, lights off: mid-afternoon on a nice, warm, calm, summer day. Imagine that, a flight school closed on what should be a busy day. Walked down the hall to ‘Phoenix Aviation': they were open, busy, bustling, and friendly, plus they had current local charts/plates.
