My father and I arrived at SRT on a Thursday evening to have Rachael transition us on the Jabiru the next few days. Rich had a homemade turkey dinner fixed for us. Wow. These are all smart knowledgeable people and want to help you. Great FBO Thanks Rachael, Rich, Ron, Matt, and Shawn we will be back.

This FBO should be used as a model for FBOs! I emailed SRT a few days before my trip, letting them know I'd need a tiedown for the night and asking what my transportation options were for getting to a bed & breakfast in town. Matt replied back, saying that although they'd be closed by the time we were due in, he would leave a crew car parked on the ramp, with tiedowns & chocks inside for us to use overnight! When we got there, everything was as promised, including a printout of directions to the B&B! Thanks, SRT, for great customer service!

When I arrived on a long two day IFR cross country, the lineman on staff came out to the plane with the best attitude you could imagine. He (didn't get his name) asked us if we needed a crew car (Grandma's Landing was closed), told us where to eat, etc. Implored us not to gas the crew car, saying, "we're here to provide service". This airport FBO is the best and it's easy to see why they won airport of the year in 2007! When we arrived back he had our plane fueled and ready to go. What more can you ask for, it was a great country airport and I'll be back!

Very friendly staff! Nice looking airport. They had our Cessna 150 fueled and ready to go while we ate at Grandma's Landing inside the Terminal. The restaurant had an all-you-can-eat buffet for only $5.99, and that included sweet tea. Hard to beat that.

An electrical malfunction in our newly purchased Commander 114 had us landing at KMVN. The people at SRT Aviation were incredible - in fact, I would say I have not received better treatment from a maintenance facility/FBO. We were literally marshaled directly into SRT's warm, immaculate hangar and within minutes had three maintainers checking for the problem while our man in the FBO made sure we had transportation into town and a good place to stay. By the next morning, the part was in, the repair was done and we were on our way. Shawn even followed up the next evening to see how we were. Wow - and Thanks Guys!!!

We flew to Mt Vernon to visit friends and could not have been treated better. Ron was especially nice and helpful. We can't wait until our next trip to Southern Illinois. Thanks again for your wonderful hospitality

Didn't need gas, charts, oil, or anything else, and still let me use the Kia all day long. I wish I were based at this airport instead of K39. We don't even have a toilet.

Flew into KMVN on 9/5/10 just for an excuse to get out and fly. The folks at SRT couldn't have been nicer. The facilities were great and the service fantastic. Definitely stop in to see them if you're flying in the southern Illinois area. It'll be hard to find nicer folks anywhere else based on my experience.

Flew a DA20 in for a quick refuel and to grab a bite to eat. We were treated like kings!! I highly recommend this FBO to anyone flying in lower Illinois. The service was GREAT.

Stopped in for fuel and lunch on x-c from NC to NE. Met by airport manager and friend Chris who called for fuel from the FBO. Great home style lunch buffet in the terminal. Would recommend SRT Aviation for everyone!

Stopped in on our way to Alabama and got some fuel. The place looks great! The employees were very friendly. I would definitely be back if I was flying in the area!

Unexpected fuel stop after fighting headwinds for 5.5 hours. Was immediately and warmly greeted (despite 10 degrees F) by lineman who offered me free sandwiches and doughnuts! Quick turnaround assisted by one personable and friendly fellow after another. Great popcorn too! All of this really made my day. I would stop here again without hesitation.

I can't believe the service I received at SRT Aviation. I have never been treated so well at an FBO in all of my 30+ years of flying. If you want to be treated as well as I did, then you HAVE to check out SRT!!! I will be back many times! You guys have earned a customer for life!

Hats off to everyone at SRT Aviation. We had a problem with the airplane and our passengers had to get to CGI (an hour and a half drive). SRT let our passengers take their van to CGI while they took care of our airplane and us. Shawn and the guys helped us out with a hotel and let us use the crew If you're ever anywhere near Mt. Vernon, IL, definitely stop in and visit SRT Aviation. They are customer service at its best. Great restaurant on the field, as well. Thanks, SRT, for taking good care of our passengers and us.

We selected MVN for a fuel stop partly on location partly on AirNav comments. Very friendly people, they knew we were coming via FlightAware. Everyone bent over backwards lending us a car and directions for light lunch, they put aircraft inside when a threating TRW rolled thru, etc. Impressed us enought to stop 10/1 for fuel on our return trip. Nice people and great FBO facilities!!!!
