Good stop, central location. They gave us a ride to the Fogglifter Cafe, 1.0 mile away, and we had a great breakfast!

Rudest customer service experience I've ever had, would avoid doing business with this FBO at all cost. After arriving to find that the self serve price was nearly a dollar per gallon more than advertised and not receiving the receipt I requested at the pump, I went inside to ask what the price actually had been and politely pointed out that they needed to update their prices online. Long story short, the woman who seemed to run the place first acknowledged my concern and said she would update the prices immediately, but then proceeded to come out to the airplane, attack me personally and professionally in front of a passenger, try to gaslight me about the online price (which two days later is still not updated), and replied "that's fine" when I politely mentioned we probably wouldn't be back. Clearly they don't want your business, so I'd recommend not giving it to them.

Parked my RV-7 here for four nights while spending Memorial Day at the nearby Tamarack Resort with some old high school buddies. The folks at McCall Aviation were very friendly and helpful. They have pilot supplies and a gift store. Avgas is an average price. The ramp is huge with lots of tie-down rings and some chains. Overnight fee is $5. A pretty good breakfast can be had at the Pancake House across the street. McCall would be a good overnight stop for a transient pilot with motels also across the street within walking distance. It would be a great base for flying around the beautiful area as well. Johnson Creek, Sulfur Creek Ranch and Big Creek are all relatively close.
