I visited the Big Easy for a conference and selected FlightLine First to tie down and fuel my V35B. The smiles and friendly service made me feel good as I left my plane and went into town (they had already called a cab for me). Severe wx was moving in a couple of days later and I called to ask if they had hangar space. They somehow "stacked" the planes in the big hangar and made mine fit! Thank you FLF. I highly recommend them!!

From Michael Katz on 10-Oct-2009
Very friendly staff and nice facility. Great to see KNEW up and running.

From Will Stroud on 21-Sep-2009
Flew in for the weekend to visit a friend. The staff and FBO did a fantasic job on all aspects of the visit. Keep up the good work!

From Brandon Johnson on 09-Sep-2009
Went about a week ago. Unbelievable service... Showed up and they were there to meet us with a follow me car. They had already called a cab and were super friendly. They went so far as to tow off and tie down the plane and then place it by the self serve (right next to) before we arrived at the airport for departing.... And all this for free!! They were really amazing and the new FBO looks great.

From Tommy Shelton on 24-Aug-2009
Landed @ KNEW after dark in C414 on 8/24/09. Went into Flightline First. Ali Amarena was behind the counter. She anticipated our every move with transportation and food, even going to p/u my dinner. The facility was new and first class, but Ali made one feel at home. Will surely return to this FBO. They even have the lowest price fuel. Who says you can’t give great service and be reasonable w/your prices too?

From Eddie Esserman on 20-Aug-2009
We spent a July weekend in New Orleans and thought ramp tie down would suffice for my A36. I did ask in the event of inclement wx to put me in a hangar. While we were downtown a storm blew up and I called and asked to be put inside. They said, they'd already done it! Imagine that. I suspect the plane stayed inside for the duration. The gas price really is the best in town, the folks at Flightline First are really that: FIRST RATE. Go to New Orleans, they need your visit. The food's great, hotels are a deal and Flightline First will take great care of you in the Big Easy. You can relax if your plane is at Flightline.

From Chris Stelly on 02-Aug-2009
Flew into NEW the first week of June (sorry I'm just getting around to this post!) with my wife after we realized her passport had expired days before a family cruise. This was without a doubt the nicest FBO we've ever visited! I know you read that often but one visit here and you will agree with all the other positive posts! As my wife said when she exited the rest room, "Even if you don't need to go, YOU NEED TO GO check out the rest room!" We'll be back in a less stressful time!

From Wayne Mudge on 22-Jul-2009
I was exceptionally impressed with the GREAT customer service provided by Fightline First. The "lineboys" were the best seen to date. They helped load/unload the plane, provided ice for our cooler, towed the plane to make self-fueling convenient, provided a golf cart to carry our luggage, and called a taxi. Did I mention they were friendly and nice? Attaboys for Flightline First.

From Ronnie Pennington on 16-Jul-2009
Very nice place to refuel, and grab a bite to eat. Awesome crew car, and the staff could not have been better. Thanks for the good service.

From Michael Frank on 10-Jul-2009
Flew into Lakefront on a Veteran Airlift Command hero flight mission. Flightline First was very accommodating and supportive of this worthy cause. Extended the "red carpet" treatment to my passenger. I'll use Flightline First whenever I'm in New Orleans!

From Colin Higgins on 06-Jul-2009
Visited Lakefront airport on 7/5/09 and used Flightline First for my Piper Aztec. Simply put, Flightline First is the best FBO I have ever visited. I have flown professionally as a corporate jet pilot for several years and have traveled worldwide- my experience on 7/5/09 at this FBO was an example of what all FBOs should aspire to.

From Michael Barnett on 21-Jun-2009
Amazing FBO! My friends and I flew in here for a two-day vacation. The staff was friendly (also very cute...), hangar service for our Tiger was only $10 more a night than leaving it out in the rain, and all the drinks were free. Also, when we needed to find the best nightlife in the city, calling the FBO and asking them proved far more helpful than the concierge at our hotel. Rock on!

From Paul Soule' on 28-May-2009
Stopped by for fuel and lunch. Very helpful, and a great crew car! They couldn't have done more!

From Kent Magnuson on 16-May-2009
Stopped here today in our N900NE Turbo Commander and had best service and friendly people.

From Edward Askins on 07-May-2009
Excellent facility and fuel prices. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a very nice experience,

From Zachary Falkenberry on 03-May-2009
Great facility! Staff was friendly from the first phone call. Provided a very nice SUV, with GPS, as the crew car. Alli was fantastic at assuring we received great service. Upon arrival, the linemen were waiting for us on the ramp. They marshaled us in a professional manner. The line staff promoted a professional appearance that left me more than comfortable leaving my aircraft in their hands. Upon departure, one of the linemen, a Braves fan (Go Braves!), stayed 30 min over for us. He was quick to be of service in any way possible. We took on fuel at the self-serve pump, which was in good condition, easy to use and an outstanding price. If you are coming to New Orleans, I think you will find Flightline First to be the best option for outstanding customer service, modern facilities, and great fuel prices.

From Dico Reijers on 17-Apr-2009
Great FBO... Their new building was almost complete. The taxi pulls up right to the plane to get your bags. The self-serve pump was U/S however they filled us up and charged us the same SS rate. Lucy at the counter is a ball of energy and loads of fun.

From Michael Nassour on 28-Mar-2009
Brought some guys in for golfing on 3/18. Flightline crew had the rental car pulled up to the plane as soon as we taxied in, loaded clubs, & provided directions. Great service!!

From Michael McLaughlin on 23-Mar-2009
Dealing with Flightline First was an absolute pleasure on my first ever flight into Lakefront Airport. Now that I know the level of service to expect, I can safely say there will be many more visits for us in the future. Thanks again!

From David Savage on 20-Mar-2009
I stopped in 3/14 on the way to Florida. Self-serve fuel price was great and FBO was very comfortable for a portable building. Good flight planning area and cold drinks available in the vending machines. The Flightline folks were all very nice. I would recommend a stop here if your travels take you near New Orleans.

From Paul McCracken on 08-Mar-2009
Great service and genuinely friendly folks, even during the chaos of Mardi Gras. I will be back.

From John Linder on 01-Mar-2009
Flew in for Mardi Gras in a 182. Quite simply the best service and friendliest staff I have encountered yet in my 350 hours of flight time. Tie downs were 10 a night self-service fuel was reasonable. Would highly recommend.

From Omer Perlstein on 26-Feb-2009
It's my second time landing there, and you know what? I wished I lived closer and could have come visit much more often, my friend and I landed there on Feb. 23rd for the Mardi Gras celebrations, and service was unbelievable! Starting from the nice, polite helping lineman that went out of his way to make us feel good (even with our old 172...) and than the service at the counter was so nice and helpful, car rental has never been easier and they upgraded our compact priced car to a very nice and comfortable car, before we even realized it, our stuff was in the trunk of the front parked rental car (all by the staff!) everybody there was so friendly and gave us such a welcoming feeling, will definitely do my best to go back there! Good luck with the new building that's supposed to be opened soon.

From Dave Morris on 21-Feb-2009
Great service from the CSRs and good advice on flying around the Mississippi Delta from some instructors there. Cab ride to the French Quarter was $28 and $20 coming back to Lakefront. Nice crew cars to go get lunch.

From Anthony Emmerling on 10-Feb-2009
Flew in for breakfast at Brennan's. Called 20 minutes out and asked about a courtesy car. Upon arrival, the linemen laid a carpet at our plane and Lucy had a new Ford Expedition (w/ leather) waiting for us. Additionally, she printed out Google Map directions for us. VIP service for a small piston plane. Thanks!

From Sam Roberts on 07-Feb-2009
Thanks for a great visit. Southern hospitality at its finest. Special thanks to Lucy, the most courteous FBO representative I have ever met. A must stop whenever in New Orleans

From Kelly Grant on 31-Jan-2009
Just a good place to do business. Friendly staff parked my 172 right up front on a busy Friday night. After weather delayed my departure, they found a place in their hangar for a week. Its kind of place where they know your name and offer to help. Looks like they are about ready to move back into the permanent building. It looks Great!

From Doug Paterson on 07-Jan-2009
UPDATE to my 3 Jan comments: I have to say, both AirNav & Flight Line First have taken this issue very seriously. As I mentioned, I updated AirNav. Gina from AirNav promptly contacted me, asked for a copy of my fuel receipt, and prepared for battle. However, there was no fight to be had--Gary Kessel, General Manager of Flight Line First, personally apologized to me and explained how the disconnect was the result of an oversight made during the rush of the Holidays. Even though I had specifically said I wasn't trying to pursue a refund (my fuel purchase was small, so the overage was very small), Gary insisted on refunding the difference to my credit card. This sort of attention to detail and customer satisfaction is worth a lot more to me than a few bucks' discrepancy in prices--"thank you to both Gina & Gary. I'll be back to Flight Line First next time I'm in Town!

From Doug Paterson on 03-Jan-2009
Very friendly, convenient service. Loads of rental cars on site (Hertz), convenient to/from I-10 and anywhere in town. A bit cramped quarters right now as they finish their remodeling--storm damage is still evident all over the airport (and the surrounding area). One note, 100LL full-serve is $4.24 (3 Jan 09), despite what the "guaranteed" price lists--they cited a 1 Jan increase in flowage charges of $.20, but that's still not all of the $.29 difference. I've notified AirNav. Assuming the same is true at the other FBOs, Flight Line First will still be cheapest on the field, but beware of changing prices!

Response from Gary Kessel, General Manager, Flightline First
Mr. Patterson, First, thank you for pointing out our mistake. The fault is entirely mine. Late in the evening of December 31st, I lowered our prices in response to a competitor's price reduction. I was leaving town the next day for the New Year's holiday and became engrossed in payroll and other pressing administrative duties that had to be completed before I left. Frankly, I simply failed to notify our CSR Manager of the price reduction. As I explained in an e-mail of apology I sent to both you and Ms. Garmon of AirNav earlier, we stand by our guarantee to provide the lowest fuel prices in New Orleans. So, again, I deeply apologize and thank both you and Ms. Garmon for pointing out my error. In an attempt to rectify the mistake, the $2.94 difference has been credited to your Master Card. We very much look forward to serving you in the future.

From Michael Rader on 01-Jan-2009
Researched FBOs at this site. Selected Flightline just so a friend could meet me and fly back with me. On their ramp for 20 minutes, tops. $25.00 ramp fee for a Cessna 172. I was expecting $15.00 from Mr. Jim Russell's comments on 17-Apr-2008. But that was not the case. Since I will be making several flights to KNEW in the near future, I will definitely try the other FBOs before going back to Flightline.

From Howard Benz on 16-Nov-2008
Excellent service again. I called 15 miles out for cab. Taxi met us at the plane. In the quarter 20 minutes after we landed. Was told new facility to open by end of 2008.

From Denny Young on 13-Oct-2008
Flew into KNEW on Oct 8th and used Flightline First. The service there was exceptional. The line guys went above and beyond what they are required. The fuel prices were very reasonable and I highly recommend using FlightLine if you are going into KNEW. I look forward to returning there in the near future.

From Jim Monroe on 10-Aug-2008
Outstanding service!! They pulled their fuel truck around to help me put air in my tires. They also provided a jump-start when I'd left my master switch on for the weekend. All of this on a Sunday morning with the temperature already through 90 degrees.

From Brian Rodgers on 26-Jul-2008
As noted by others, the personnel at Flightline First are very friendly and helpful. They have a large, STURDY, hangar which housed my small plane for $20/night. The 100LL was a bit pricey at well over $6/gal though and I was not given a free night's hangarage (or even a discount) for a fill-up as I had hoped. KNEW is a good airport and had no problems skirting the airspace of the nearby International airport.

From Levi Gilder on 21-Jul-2008
I have flown into NEW many times, but this was my first experience with Flightline First. I must say I was very impressed with the service and hospitality. Line staff and customer service were very nice and stood ready to meet our requests. Good fuel price as well. A+

From Joe Ludwikowski on 12-Jul-2008
Stayed two nights at KNEW and decided on Flightline First based on the comments on AirNav. We were so glad we did. Service was outstanding! When we arrived there were CB's in the area so we decided to hangar our little Sundowner. It was no problem and the staff took care of us pronto. We had an early departure (0630) and the airplane was fueled and ready to go when we showed up. Everyone we met was friendly and eager to help. I will definitely use Flight Line First whenever I come back to KNEW.

From Rudy Rehquate on 11-Jul-2008
A very nice place to get gas and an over night stay. Professional service and found us a very nice hotel in the French Q. Taxi cost into the F/Q, two companies = $18 one-way, two people and 12.05 minutes.

From Ian Cairns on 08-Jun-2008
I decided to base my Commander 114 at NEW as a token gesture to rebuilding. Had previously been at an outlying place. Checked around and FF gave me an excellent hangar rate and discount on all fuel purchases. Expected discount service but after six months have had nothing but excellent service from them. I call when I leave my house and they have the plane pulled up and fueled by the time I get to the ramp. When I fly in they are always out front waiting and as soon as I shut down they help me unload my bags and then put the plane to bed. I don't have to do a thing. All for about the price of a T hangar where I would have to do everything. Don't want to single out anyone, all the guys and gals are good. Give this FBO a shot and support the local business in New Orleans.

From Chris Gilbert on 04-May-2008
Flew in yesterday for JazzFest. Called 20 miles out and our taxi was waiting for us when we landed. Plane was fueled and ready for us when it was time to go. Line guys were very polite and eager to help us. I assume they are in just temporary facilities right now. I look forward to using these guys again in the future and hope they do well with their new FBO. No slight against Million Air, as they've always been good to me at KNEW, but these days, I've got to go where the fuel is the cheapest, and that was Flightline First.

From Jim Russell on 17-Apr-2008
Tied down with Flightline for 6 nights. PA28 fees were $10.00 per night plus a ramp fee of $15.00. The ramp fee of $15.00 is waived for fuel purchase of 10 gallons or more. First night tie down fee of $10.00 is waived for fuel top off. Very nice people went out of their way to be helpful. The FBO manager personally gave my wife and myself a free ride to our nearby hotel to assist us with pre-departure loading. Pretty outstanding service!

From Ran Merritt on 05-Apr-2008
Flew down for a weekend getaway and these guys could not have, been nicer or done a better job. They met me with a roll our carpet and smiles. Took my Cherokee and fueled her and had my taxi called before I even had my bags ready. When I called ahead to reserve a spot I got the President's cell phone while he was in the grocery store. Very much a small mom and pop atmosphere but professional. On the return trip, I called from the hotel and when I got there twenty minutes later, my Cherokee was sitting out front ready to go. Best fuel prices, great service, and a small team ready to do whatever it takes to keep your business! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to you all.

From Carl Bearden on 27-Mar-2008
Great service, price and location. Will stop again.

From Akash Desai on 13-Mar-2008
I needed a place to park my a/c for 2 days which I did at Flightline First Nice Experience, nice Staff, pleasant Waiting Room and very friendly staff and best of all...Cheaper fuel! Am definitely going there again

From Stephen Gray on 11-Mar-2008
They are going to have to do better than this. I think the best way to describe this FBO is 'mediocre'. There was nothing particularly wrong when we stopped off there last Sunday, but from booking the Hotel, to even simple tasks like calling a cab seemed like a chore. The plane was not pulled out on the line when we were ready to leave so we had to wait and the line staff happily stood and watched as my wife hauled her suitcase across the apron. We usually use Million Air and maybe expect their service to be the norm. I think that on our next visit we will go back to them. I guess we moved because of the price of gas and got exactly what we paid for.

From Jan Hoynacki on 08-Feb-2008
I made two recent stops at Flightline First, and found the folks to be very friendly and the service was prompt. With their fuel price much lower than their competitor on the field, I'll definitely use them again.

From Daniel Wiley on 04-Feb-2008
Stopped in at Lakefront Airport - Flightline First has the cheapest fuel prices at KNEW and the service was very good, from the line workers to the friendly ladies behind the desk. The lobby is a modular office, apparently while Flightline is refurbishing the hangar and offices, which were damaged during Katrina. However, it is well appointed and comfortable, with a very nice flat-screen TV and A/C. The manager was kind enough to store our golf clubs in his office for a week - great service! Hopefully, we'll be back!

From Wes Chapman on 04-Jan-2008
We reserved with Flightline for the Tiger during our stay for the Sugar Bowl. Per their suggestion, we called about 20 minutes out. Upon landing, the carpet was laid out and our bags taken to a waiting taxi. Upon arriving for our departure, they had us topped off and ready to roll with an invoice ready for my review and signature. True service such as that exhibited by their staff knows that details count. Our 15gal top off was appreciated as much as a Jet A fill up.

From Tim Morrison on 31-Dec-2007
Landed here for a Christmas visit to the family. Good service. Called later when it was pouring rain and asked them to hangar it. They said they would but warned that the door doesn't close and the roof is full of holes (un-repaired Katrina damage of course). On leaving it was a bit hard to get in because they didn't see us and there's no intercom (didn't occur to us to honk the horn). They didn't charge for the hangar night. Ramp fee waived with any fuel purchase, 1st night tie-down waived for any fuel purchase. Other FBO says they waive the ramp fee as well but didn't say anything about waiving the 1st night.

From Ronald Zenga on 24-Dec-2007
During previous travels, my dealings with the other FBO on the field (at other locations) had left a bad taste in my mouth; so I was pleasantly surpised to learn about Flightline when we decided to fly to NoLA in our Mooney. We called the night before to set up a taxi and hangar space. Despite being 2 hours after our ETA, Flightline still had our cab waiting, with water and a red carpet. Everything was handled promptly and professionally. They made us feel like a million bucks even though we only bought 16 gallons. I will definitely be doing business here again.

From Steve Doss on 11-Dec-2007
Took the family to NOLA, contacted Flightline 20 minutes out, was met with a red carpet and a taxi to the Quarter. These guys know what time it is; they are very professional and extraordinarily hospitable. Least expensive fuel on the field. I will absolutely use them again.

From Greg Markham on 02-Dec-2007
I am always pleased to patronize a local establishment, especially when the services are comparable to the bigger chains. The folks at FlightLine, especially Dave, were extremely helpful on a last minute trip to New Orleans. Set me up with a crew car to make my meeting and while away, set up a hotel for me just around the corner. (The Econolodge nearby was clean, comfortable, modern, and reasonable). Was dropped at the hotel and picked up the next morning an hour before normal opening time so that I could leave on my schedule. Keep up the good work Flightline!

From Avishay Oren, , CFII Maryland on 01-Dec-2007
Flew in on November 29, 2007 these guys go way and beyond to welcome and assist you. Fuel prices are competitive, got a tour with the golf cart for the 15 yards from the ramp to the FBO, upon departure we asked to purchase an IFR chart, one of the guys gave us one of his spare charts free of charge. Great bunch of people, highly recommended.

From Brian Progar on 30-Nov-2007
Stayed at this FBO the weekend before Thanksgiving. Great service. I called ahead 30 min. out and requested a cab. It was there when I taxied up. They met me with a golf cart and took my baggage from my plane and loaded it in the cab. Touchdown to French Quarter was ~30 minutes. Not bad. Nice weather/waiting room. Good people and great to support a local company.

From Alan Kozarsky on 09-Nov-2007
Excellent experience, highly motivated FBO. Arrived to cheerful, competent line crew and supervisor, taxicab was waiting. These are the new guys on the block, appreciate the business and obviously want to succeed. Pricing is better than competition.
