Have always had nothing but great service here both with my airplane and the large fractional I fly for but...$6.18 for self service 100LL is just wrong...I can tank up at Half Moon Bay along the coast for $5.22 a gallon and elsewhere in California for almost a $1.50 a gallon less (see great deals report). Business Jet Center just down the ramp has no self serve but will sell it at $6.00 a gallon (w/. 25c AOPA discount). So much for competition...If you’re headed to San Francisco for a visit you can do much better stopping at another of the many surrounding airports until this FBO (or the Port of Oakland a.K.A landlord) brings their prices into reality.

Flew in to pick up a friend flying in from Longbeach, very friendly service, even brought my friend from Jet Blue Terminal back to Kaiser Air. Definitely made the whole trip worth it, no parking fee for the day and once inside everyone made sure we were ok. Very comfy chairs in pilot's lounge.

I picked up my "new" C-310Q at OAK and stopped by Kaiser's convenient self-serve pumps on my way out. Unfortunately, that wasn't to be my only interaction with this excellent FBO that day. After clearing 27R and with the gear in transit, I heard a sound no 310 owner ever wants to hear - A sharp rending somewhere beneath my feet. I knew what had happened, but tried to lower the gear anyway. Two green lights vs. three. Damn. Over the next three hours Kaiser graciously facilitated my conversation on their frequency with my A&Ps and the former owner. Ultimately our attempts at gear lock failed and with daylight waning, we declared an emergency and the unfortunate checkout instructor and I "landed" on two (props stopped and feathered!). After concluding mid-runway conversations with airport management, the FAA and NTSB, Kaiser dispatched one of their tugs and towed my now bent and broken aircraft back to the shop. In the end, they wouldn't let me pay them for any of it. Now that's service!

Small biz jet that still was going to buy 400 gals of Jet-A. I knew this was not going to be seemless when one pilot tipped the line guys generously when they humped the bags and got the rental car. Then poof! Line guys gone. I got to clean my own airplane out, vacuum, trash, ice, coffee pots - everything. As I closed the door a line guy drives over and asks if he can take my trash. How magnificent! Fuel prices and fees were not that outstanding or outrageous for big-city airport but FBO's sell service. My own opinion was Valley Girls on the counter who couldn't think beyond operating telephone and walkie-talkie switches. Line guys more interested in ogling the counter girls and talking about how their trucks are equipped. What was left was one tired line manager trying to keep this group motivated and moving forward. To top it off, my boss, an avid coffee drinker, went out of his way to say how terrible the coffee tasted. If there's a next time, I'll probably try the other guys.

Stopped into Kaiser this week for a business meeting in SF. They do not come out and direct you to a transient spot, but I'm a little plane and don't really expect/need that kind of service. Staff is very friendly and amenities are nice. Free shuttle ride to the BART. Self serve is right next to parking and is quick and easy. The $17 overnight fee is reasonable for an operation this size. Would definitely stop by again.

I've been making annual summer trips to San Francisco via OAK since 2003. Kaiser doesn't seem to offer red carpet service to smaller planes, be prepared to park yourself and deal with your own baggage. However, they do offer a great transient parking area equipped with lots of space and tie down chains, a convenient self serve pump adjacent to the parking, excellent planning facilities, and a free ride to and from the BART station. In my experience, they will also happily help you with hotel bookings if needed. From my point of view, those are the key things I need and the convenience of the facility is worth the small overnight fee. Controllers are really pro and will hold your hand without attitude if you are unfamiliar with local procedures.

Arrived late, around 10 p.M. to find no taxi director. Not a major worry as the parking area is adjacent to the FBO building, and I thought maybe they were just short-staffed. Nope: the two guys inside the building were sitting at the desk in their line gear, talking about a soccer match. They waited patiently for me to find a place, park, tie down, unload, and schlep my stuff into the building, and then appeared surprised that somebody might show up in an airplane at such an hour. They did call a cab for me, but then I had to go and find them to get them to open the gate once the taxi arrived to take me into the city. Well below average in my experience, but I can't say it's any worse than San Jose (extremely expensive), Half Moon Bay (remote and no facilities) or Hayward (remote and really bad service). At least it's close to the city, and their fuel prices are okay given the size of the market.

Flew my C-310 in from L.A. Area. Very convenient approach and Kaiser was located straight across when taxing off the runway. They guided me in directly in front of the terminal and then shuttled my crew and me to the BART station. When returning, we phoned when exiting the transbay tube on the east side and they were waiting for us when we got off the BART station. Fuel is higher than a no-perk FBO, but for service like this, it was actually quite reasonable.

Flew in 172 over the weekend, no one out front to direct and yes fuel is a pricey and ramp fee not waived for fuel. Honestly though, the convenience is unbeatable for SF. Staff was friendly. Flying into OAK saves so much time versus other nearby airports. I will return.

What a great experience! Flew in our Archer and was treated as if we were refueling a Gulfstream. Was given crew car to use for few hours to visit my son at UC Berkeley. Extremely nice people, very pleasant FBO. Excellent fuel prices. Absolutely the place to stop in Bay Area. Quicker from here to downtown San Francisco than SFO and no fees.

Stopped at KaiserAir to pick up an AngelFlight passenger on our way to Santa Monica. Weather delayed our flight, but a very quick fueling thanks to KaiserAir helped make up the time. They offered a substantial discount for AngelFlight.

Used the FBO for an evening event on Saturday 12-9-06. Intended to depart @2300, but low freezing level, lots of obscures, and high terrain to cross on route home (VNY) made a delay a prudent thing. Found the staff very accommodating and pleasant. (I drive an Arrow). There is a good Wx screen, hi-speed Internet station, very nice pilot lounge, and even a sleep room. This is the second time the Wx has grounded me at this FBO, and both times the staff has been great.

I often use KaiserAir. Great service for piston customers IF you call ahead. Otherwise, you often fend for yourself and find a parking place in the transient rows next to the FBO. No fees for quick turn; ramp fees apply for any stay over, with or without full serve fuel purchase. Might just as well use self-serve and save. Enterprise on site; Towncars by prior arrangement for the trip into SF. OAK and KaiserAir are the best combo for getting into SF as a piston pilot.

Had business in San Francisco mid-October 2006, so parked my C310 at KaiserAir. While my 310 were pretty small potatoes compared to all the corporate jets, KaiserAir provided very good service--van from the plane to terminal, help with baggage, called taxi, plane fueled and ready for departure. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

I called them today to check on parking fees. For a single engine they charge $17 for the first day, then $11 per day after. SS fuel is as quoted on this site- $4.21.

A couple of corrections. Kaiser no longer will bring the car to your aircraft due to "security reasons." Additionally, there were no line personnel to help me into or out of parking. It would have been nice to have some help, due to the 2-3 foot of clearance while taxiing into the parking area between rows. Finally, I had to have the line guys return to the plane and add additional fuel because they neglected to get the tanks all the way to the top. Not a horrible experience, but not exactly top notch. Comanche 260, $11/day parking fee.

This is a top FBO with excellent staff, line people, reasonable fuel prices. It is impressive how they have your car at your plane (with all paperwork completed) before the engines have stopped turning...

Kaiser Air is a top notch FBO with all the goodies. I will start with the good first. Saturday morning my crew car provide by my company would not start. I called Kaiser at 6:30 am and they had a van there in about ten minutes to pick me up. They saved me big time! The bad, at night every Monday through Friday night when I taxi up I always try to park in the third row. On two different occasions I had to park in the second row. The ramp supervisor asked if my brake was off I said yes, but I will be back in less 30 minutes. He cut me off in mid sentence and said rudely I have jets coming and you are in the way. I got back in about 20 minutes and no jets. The second time I started to park in the second row and he threw his arms in the air for me not to park there. If he knows we are coming every night at the same time either pick up the cones in the third row or have somebody marshal us to a parking spot instead of standing in front of the FBO talking to the other line guys.

Great service from this first class FBO - even for a Turbo Arrow arriving on a Saturday evening when the FBO was going crazy with heavy iron as sports teams and fans were heading out of town after College Basketball Tournement. Reasonable rates, friendly ladies at the counter - amazingly calm given the high level of activity. Will be back!

Parked at Kaiser for a quick lunch with a pax at Francesco's. Kaiser has a great staff and nice place but they told me the new parking fee for a single is $17 after the first half hour, fuel or no fuel. That said they did waive me though at no charge after an hour lunch.
