Didn't see any updates for well over a year on AirNav so was not sure what to expect. Fuel was 5.11 as posted and the overnight fee is still $5. Nice folks at the airport and will use this airport again. Great option on the coast.

I arrived early in the afternoon from KPAE. Fuel prices at the self-serve pumps are very reasonably and the overnight fee is $5/day. The folks were very friendly and accommodating. When I was getting ready to depart the plane was a little low on oil so they let me use their funnel to add a quart. They were sure to remind me of the noise abatement procedures as I taxied onto the runway for take off. Nice little FBO that is easy to get in and out of.

Stayed 3 days on a brief Labor Day weekend visit. Not only were the facilities more than adequate the service provided by Sam Zappia was exceptional. He really exudes aviation enthusiasm, which is rare at many other airports.

Flew down from Santa Monica on a recent Saturday just for fun. There's plenty of transient parking (just look for the yellow Ts). A friendly gentleman (sorry I didn't catch his name!) gave me tips on where to go eat, and I ended up walking two miles down the walking path to the harbor. It was a great walk, the fish tacos were great and we had a great time! Check out the city of Oceanside's website for the noise abatement procedures. They're not complicated, but they are very important.

I'll be the first to put in a positive comment for the new team from Airport Property Ventures. Dennis Easto and the rest of the airport team are very friendly professionals, and this is the kind of "hometown airport" we all enjoy. We've rented a tiedown, and on almost every landing, a friendly local pilot has come up to chat. Airport is a little difficult to see when 10 out, and IFR clearances via phone and SoCal Approach out of here are a little slow sometimes, but all in all, a fine airport!

I would like to thank everyone who has visit Oceanside Municipal Airport over the last 7 years that I have been here. I am leaving as of 9/1/09 and Airport Property Ventures will be taking over the Oceanside Municipal Airport. It has been great meeting all of you and I wish all of you the best! On 3/18/09 visited the City of Oceanside via the walking trail after flying into OKB in a 172. Lots of things to do in Oceanside...Restaurants, etc and of course the Pacific Ocean. The 172 decided to have a starter problem on departure. Harold at the FBO immediately contacted mechanic Dan Nelson at DANAIR who had us on our way in less than a half hour. Thanks guys. You saved the day with your attention to customer service. I will come again.
