Stopped for fuel on 11/4. Very friendly people. Airport Manager Jeremy Porter went out of his way to be helpful with directions and suggestions. Good crew car to get into town. Put plane in hangar overnight when high winds were forecast (no charge). Highly recommended.

Great fuel stop. Fast and great equipment.

I landed Sunday from MD to top off and take in the local cuisine. I'm sure the folks at OKM are great but after flying 5-1/2 hours through massive storms and landing to 100+ degree temps, no one was there. Their fuel system: After turning the pump on, usage started before I even unrolled the hose. Then I noticed fuel leaking from the reel assembly. Ok, I got the nozzle to my tank and... Nothing. I figured the thing timed out or something so I tried again... Nothing. So I'm on a ramp, HOT, low on fuel, and I can't even reach anyone on the FBO phone numbers. I called the police track someone down but to no avail. I tried a 3rd then a 4th time and the pump turned on. Vapor locked? Drenched now and starving, I jumped back in the plane on to AZ. I expect my experience was the exception but I'd advise anyone planning on stopping to call ahead and confirm the facilities availabilities. Sorry for the negative review but I hope you take the feedback and run with it.

Quick fuel stop for us. Though they are self-service pumps, the attendant was out within minutes and cheerily fueled our airplane. Very much appreciated! And the fuel prices are very competitive. THANKS!

Received full service treatment at self-service pump, even in 100-degree heat. Runway and new taxiways are in great condition. I'll be back.

Was planning on stopping there for fuel today. 18 July 2009. The first warning I had was Weathermeister listed the runway closed. AWOS said airport was CLOSED when I got close enough to hear it. Luckily I had enough fuel to go to my next destination.

Landed here after a vacuum pump failure, and I am glad I did. Jeremy went out of his way to help, I got the airport car while in town, and helpful tips. Praise to Jeff Abbott of Abbott Aircraft Services, who managed to procure a replacement pump *overnight* and getting it in early next morning.
