Flew into KOLE on 8/4/12 to grab some dinner in town. Conditions were gusty with the slight chance of thunderstorms all day. Called Steve and he was able to give me real time weather updates and what other pilots were saying. We found a break in the day and made the trip from KROC. After dinner, I talked to Steve who warned me of a pop up thundershower that was making its way in. I was able to safely get my dad and I in the air just in time to avoid the weather. To top my experience all off, when my dad and I get back to ROC a voicemail is waiting for us from Steve to make sure we made it back safe. Steve strives to give customers the best experience possible and in that aspect he succeeded and I am now a customer for life. Thanks again Steve, hope to fly in again soon!

Planned trip to the area from RDU and stay for four days. Line crew was very courteous on arrival Thursday. They fueled my 182 and found a tie down. They took good care of us even though they were closed on the weekend to transient traffic due to an aerobatic competition. They got me out on Sunday morning just fine. Will visit again for sure. Highest airport in New York State I was told. Give them a visit!

This FBO staff really support pilots and their missions. They sent me advice ahead of time about parking and promised to let the people meeting bring a car out on the tarmac. On my arrival the staff came out and directed us in to the ramp, helped with fuel filling and generally welcomed everyone. They have coffee and soft drinks inside the FBO, and all were as helpful as can be. A great place to arrive, especially as it is up on a hilltop and very visible!

Stopped here on an Angel Flight last Sunday and service could not have been better! They told us that self-serve fuel would be available by midyear. FBO facilities are very nice with well maintained passenger lounge and restrooms. I should add that OLE had the best fuel price in the area!
