This is a wonderful FBO, period. Friendly, helpful, and homespun. Isabelle, her husband and Lady the Dog all met me on arrival. Clean restrooms. Courtesy car for an overnight local stay was a plus! If ever out your way again, we'll be sure to stop by. Thanks, Pecos Air Center!

Nice airport in west Texas. Not fancy, but comfortable and staffed by people who care. Subway sandwich shop is an easy walk down the street and a perfect way to stretch out after a long flight.

I flew into Pecos today to find a very nice lady at the front that gave us a courtesy vehicle to get to town. We are flying a Citation II out of the DFW Area and were paying the ramp fee in lieu of a fuel purchase due to weight restriction at our next destination. While speaking on my cell phone outside the "line-guy" on the golf cart asked me not to stand around his home "I was awestruck and perplexed at the crass comment of this employee when I had no idea I was doing anything wrong" I was conducting legitimate business over the phone while waiting on passengers, not lurking around a house.

Let me tell you about Texas hospitality. The couple that runs this cute little FBO are some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. I have flown into this airport twice. They loaned me a crew car OVERNIGHT and were helpful both times in suggesting local hotels. If you are in the area, this little family FBO is well worth a stop.

C-560 called ahead on the landline, enroute to CA for a fuel stop. Isabelle met us on the "FOLLOW ME" golf cart, parked us, and had the Jet-A truck with single point ready. She is very knowledgeable on the fueling & single point. We helped ourselves to Burritos she had ready for us. The dogs were friendly and not intrusive. This was a one-woman show when we came thru and very well run. Not a Taj Mahal, but a nice clean everything you need stop, great quick in and out for a quick turn. We were parked, re-fueled (600 + gals), ate, paid the bill (good price on Jet-A given the current economy), and back in the plane in 30 minutes. What more can you ask for? Thanks

Isabelle is great. She was there to meet up when we arrived in although we had not called ahead. Her dogs are awesome too. She was extremely helpful and gave us a car for the night after booking our hotel. She gave us directions for food on a map also. Looking forward to visiting again.

Fantastic place to stop that meets the most critical requirements; Airport dogs - Check, Terrific service and support - Check, Brisket Burritos and salsa - Check. If all FBOs were like this we would all have flying cars by now.

Stopped for fuel and ended up staying the night with a mechanical problem. The FBO owners and employees are great! They found us a place to stay and gave us a courtesy car. I can't say enough about what a great stop PEQ was!

What a great place to refuel. As I was in a Skycrane helicopter and had called ahead, attendant was right there to greet and park me. Welcomed me and told me to go on in and have something to eat. I said eat? He said hell yes your in Texas not some foreign country. The burritos were not only awesome but totally awesome as well as the conversation delightful, interesting and humorous. I will go out of my way to stop here in the future! It's nice to stop, refuel and grin and even feel better about life after sharing conversation at PEQ.

Stopped late in the day 26 Oct for RON on way to SAT. Jim found me a room (surprisingly busy with oil business back in swing), gave me a car for the night, and had my Cirrus filled up before sunrise next day. I usually like to visit different airports on way home, but they easily earned my repeat business 2 days later.

I have echo all the great comments about this airport. Very welcoming, helpful, very casual. Good motels very close and the a/c works in the courtesy car.

I have been coming to Pecos once a year from the Bahamas for more than 25 years. The experience and service that I receive during my weeklong stay is the best I have gotten anywhere. The airport is a great ambassador for the city of Pecos.

This is what General Aviation should be. Super service, friendly and helpful. Best fuel prices around. Get a tasty mesquite smoked burrito and a drink on the house. There are several motels (Hampton Inn and Best Western) at edge of the airfield. Several crew cars available as well. This is my preferred place to stop in West Texas!

Terrific fuel stop. Easy airport to get in and out of, friendly staff, nice dogs. And the famous brisket burrito (honestly, more of a taco) makes a perfect snack.

Not fancy but what a pleasant experience! The folks who run the place are friendly and welcoming. The facilities are basic but have everything you need. They even offered me a burrito! I will absolutely use them again for a fuel stop. (The two dogs, Lady and Cowboy are sweet too!

Wow! FBO's take notice. This is one of the finest FBO's in the country. Exceptionally nice people, reasonable fuel prices, prompt friendly service, and their famous delicious pot roast burritos, make this an unbeatable fuel stop.

Awesome fuel / food stop. Service was great. The brisket burritos are out of this world, and everyone gets one and a drink at no charge. Like one of the other posts said, put some $ in the local food bank donation can for the free meal.

Friendly, helpful, proficient--just plain nice people. Our third stop in four years as we return to FL from SoCal in our PA24 each year. Loaned us a car to travel to the Best Western nearby. Enjoyed the dogs too. Just feels like home there. Hope to visit again in 2011.

Very friendly gentleman greeted me when I had to stop over for an overnight since a squall line of thunderstorms prevented my return to SA. They gave me a courtesy suburban and pointed me in the direction of their "new" Best Western, which incidentally is the best, Best Western I have stayed at. Would definitely stop here, found people warm and friendly.

Stopped in at Pecos for the night. All I can do is echo the prior comments that you won't be disappointed. Good people, crew car to go to the motel, restaurant or whatever, and full serve fuel at self serve price. Swiss Chalet Motel is close and very nice.
