Enrique's is well known for their excellent authentic Mexican style food, and I would have to agree with that fully. They should also be known for their service. Me and another guy was out logging hours and flew in their last night thinking it would be good to stop and grab a quick bite to eat. We got there at 8:30PM, they told me they closed at 8:00PM. We grabbed a pop from the vending machine and started to leave. The waitress came out and said that they would be more than happy to serve us. Not only was the food excellent as normal, but the service was excellent as well. I really appreciated the fact that they were willing to stay open to serve us. GREAT JOB!

Myself and three guys from work went there for a long lunch. Once we got seated (about a 20min wait) the service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere is definitely lacking, unless you enjoy fluorescent lights and hard steel chairs. Important FYI, prepare to feel terrible afterwords as the greasy chips will turn into a lead brick in your stomach.

Went to Enrique's last night with a friend and enjoyed my experience. The chips were different and a nice change I thought and my chimichanga was pretty good though the spices were a little lacking. My waitress was friendly and efficient and quite a looker. I would recommend this quaint little Mexican American restaurant to friends.

Yeah so I ate at Enrique's yesterday night about 7PM and my stomach is still churning. But not bad! I like how the restaurant was within about 20 yards of where I parked my 150. I will definitely go back, but like the last guy, I'll past on the soft, oily "nacho chips."

Tried Enrique's again today for lunch - please disregard the reference to "bland" tasting food in my previous post. The salsa, soup, and burrito were pleasantly spicy - not quite enough to break a sweat on your forehead, but close. Good service, but I will pass next time on the oily, soft chips.

Flew in for lunch; food was OK at best (actually sort of bland). This is what I'd call "gringo" Mexican, as it seems that the majority of Americans don't like spicy food. Much has been written about the chips- if you're looking to run up your cholesterol this would be a good way, and they're $1.75 to boot. Lunch for two was $24 plus tip. Service was very good. M-F 11-2, Sat 11-9. Supper 4:30- 8. Closed Sunday.

Enrique’s is quite possibly the best Mexican food in existence. The chips are heavenly and all food tastes authentic and homemade. The restaurant has a long-standing tradition in Ponca City of superb service and excellent food. Try the ORANGE SOPAPILLA...But be warned...You may not be able to eat just one!

Flew in Saturday (10-28-06) for a quick lunch before heading back into Tulsa. On the menu for today, "Hot and Spicy Texas Burrito, " and the "Beef Tacos" both excellent. After copious amounts of water we were on our way back in minimal time. As always great service and excellent food.

My experience was much better than the previous post, the service and food was very good, especially liked the chips. Good Crown on a Saturday evening. Only problem is I was driving in instead of flying in.

After not seeing our waitress for thirty minutes after we ordered, she finally came back to say that they were working on the order. As we watched planes, which arrived AFTER us, depart the airport, we started to get upset. The waitress didn't offer to bring us complementary chips or appetizers or even refill our waters! After an hour of waiting, our waitress told us the reason our food was not there was because there was only ONE fajita grill. 15 minutes later, our waitress came back and told us that the kitchen was finally beginning to cook our order and our food did arrive 15 minutes later and was not hot. I also realized that there were only two tortillas with my fajita meal. The waitress apologized and returned with exactly three tortillas. The waitress left us our ticket and never returned to be our cashier. My fiancé and I's 100 dollar "hamburger" trip turned into a 100 dollar and 2 hour nightmare. We can confidently say that our first trip to Enrique's was also our last.

A group of us with the Cessna 150/152 Club had a fly-in on 3/11/06 at PNC. We had lunch at Enrique's. The food was good and service was great. Although our group was big (11 people) and had some late arrivals, the cheerful waitress was prompt and attentive with our orders. We definitely will be back.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch a couple of days ago. It was very busy (lots of locals) but the service was excellent. We found the waitress and others to be very friendly. The food was very good. We will definitely be back.

We fly in to Enrique's every chance we get. The food is great authentic Mexican food. "Not for Taco Bell Lovers" The restrooms are operated by the Terminal and can not be blamed on Enrique's. I'll keep spending my Avgas dollars to go there!!

Service UTTERLY APPALLING!!! Never again until pretty much the entire staff of malcontent rude waitresses are turned over. After many hassles to get a simple take-out order order ended up being wrong! Restrooms I can confirm: disgraceful state (2 last visits). I don't know if it's changed hands or the owner simply asleep at the wheel. Everyone there had long faces and I just about lost my temper big time with these rude girls.
