Our first trip to KPUB in our King Air 250. Catherine at the desk and Todd and his team on the line did an amazing job of providing a quick turn and wonderful hospitality. Can't wait to visit Rocky Mountain Flower on our way home in the next few days!

This is really one of the best FBO's around, no BS! It is a small town feel, but ALL services and great fuel prices! I have been a customer for years and plan to continue to do so. The new facility is really a pilots dream, you will want your hangar to look like it, and I do!! Brock and his family are super. All the line guys are pros and very friendly! You will thank me if you stop there! Blue Skies!!

Pretty much the same as last year's trip back from Oshkosh. Rocky has taken over the old Flower building and operation and the restaurant closed early.
From C. Joseph Beck on 20-Jul-2016

Grumpy line guy waves for us to stop next to two Blackhawks loading gear. We shut down only to have him direct us to taxi to a tiedown section. I had no interest in an immediate hot start so we dug out the tow bar. After hearing the "liability" lecture another line tech on a cart eventually tossed three dissimilar ropes on the ramp and cruised off. We had to hand dig gravel out of the flush cleats. The reserved rental car was not ready. The final surprise was a totally ignored fuel order that delayed our departure. We won't be back.

The new FBO building is first rate as I reported in March 2016. I have made a couple of fly in trips to PUB since and have found the service to be excellent and fuel price is very fair. The folks at R M Flowers has allowed me to park a car near the FBO for my shopping trips to Pueblo since I live in a area in New Mexico where we have no big box retail and very few services. This FBO treats GA as an important customer.

Been flying in and out of KPUB for decades. So happy to see they have moved to their new location next to the terminal. The new facility is first class, every bit as nice as an FBO you would find at a popular destination airport. The service is top notch, which is why Flower Pueblo was rated the #1 FBO in the country in 2004. The new location gets them away from the self serve station too, which is always a problem for some since they want to buy the cheap fuel from the competitor then use the nice facility and eat the free cookies or ice cream.

Did a quick refueling stop in a Lear yesterday. The service was quick, friendly, and priced fairly. The interior of the FBO has been redone and is gorgeous - vintage aviation photos, antique furniture, a fun shop with aviation items, delicious fresh baked cookies and hot coffee. I highly recommend this FBO and will be back! The new operator is a female pilot and her attention to detail and the pilot experience shines through.

  1. A few years back, Rocky Mountain Flower FBO misrepresented price of their 100LL fuel by stating the price was posted on the front of their golf cart, which is actually the much lower JET A price. 2. Rocky Mountain Flower attempted to marshal me behind two heavy U.S. Army helicopters, one was a dual rotor Chinook, preparing to depart. 3. Rocky Mountain Flower marshaller said he notified me of a $15 ramp fee, which was unequivocally FALSE. 4. Rocky Mountain Flower employee approached me as I was departing stating I owed them a $15 ramp fee, took pictures of my airplane and notified security when I refused to pay. 5. Rocky Mountain Flower selectively charges $15 ramp fees, as they did not charge another aircraft parked next to me. 6. Rocky Mountain Flower owner grudgingly offered to waive the $15 ramp fee they told the security officer I refused pay, but given his condescending and dismissive tone and manner of address, and his employees untruthfulness, I paid the fee.

Stopped by today driving through Pueblo. Found RM Flowers in a completely remodeled building. Very nice facility and staff was friendly and offered a tour of the new place. Used to fly in a lot, but had not been in while so glad to see the improvement. Also have crew cars available now.
From Jim Densmore on 15-Jan-2016

These guys are great, but the primary reason for this post is to mention that the new restaurant opened January 7, 2016.
From Arthur Wolk, Eclipse Jet 229EA on 06-Dec-2015

I have been a twice monthly customer since they opened. Everyone is welcoming, kind to my dog and me and expedite refueling, always charging a fair price. I go out of my way to stop there because I know the experience will make my trip more enjoyable.
From Brian Frazier on 17-Sep-2015

I was flying cross country and planned to stop for fuel in Amarillo, but winds were favorable so I pushed on to Pueblo as I had never landed there and always like to try a new place for future fuel stops. When I taxied in, the jet fuel truck was waiting as if I had called ahead for a quick turn. The staff was very nice, offering to make us a cup of coffee, and the line guys fueled us quickly and we were out of there in 15 minutes. I am always looking for a good fuel stop when travelling west from Mississippi and this one is now in my top ten list. Could not have been better. Thank you all at Rocky Mountain!
From Gerald Blank on 06-Aug-2015

I was there on 7/25/15 on my way back from Oshkosh. The restaurant is closed and the fuel service was so confusing I thought I was being handled by Sibran while in fact I was handled by Rocky Mountain at a higher price. The line marshaling was poor and fuel and other services very slow. If I use KPUB at all In the future, I will ignore the Rocky Mountain cart with a fake fuel and follow me in it and go directly to the Sibran self serve.
From Pete Zaitcev on 14-Jun-2015

I came on Sunday and was a little concerned in view of previous comments, but Flower worked until 8 p.M. They sold me 7 gallons of 100LL and I detected no ill disposition even though next Citation bought 400 gallons of Jet-A. The only downside is, they moved from their old buiding next to the terminal to a hangar near former self-serve and the office is tiny. There's no getting away from TVs.
From Peter TInsman on 16-Mar-2015

We stopped back into this FBO on our way back east 3/16/15. The service was once again top notch and friendly. The fuel prices were terrific and the hospitality was perfect. Once again we were offered a bottle of wine, cookies, bottles of water and ice cream treats. From the time we LANDED to when we TOOK OFF again was no more than 25 minutes. All FBOs should learn from Rocky Mountain Flower at KPUB. Stop in, it is truly worth it.
From Mark Watson on 29-Dec-2014

12/28/2014 Hustle and Customer service at its best, you have to see it to believe it. Clean restrooms, service was unmatched. A must stop for fuel....
