We use Million Air at Richmond often and for a reason. The service is excellent. We have always been met by line service when entering their ramp. The CSRs are extremely helpful in arranging hotels at excellent rates and handling any extras you need. The facilities are nice if you have a layover...Theater, recliners, separate sleep room, and their crew car is a Mercedes. Their fuel price is good and I've rarely had fees when buying a nominal minimum amount of fuel.

Visited Richmond for an overnight stay. Lineman watched as my wife unloaded luggage and carries her bags to the FBO. Plane was fueled and ready on time the next day. Average at best. I've been treated much better at other FBO's.

Apologies... The $25 fee is a "ramp" fee and not a "handling" fee.

I haven't been there (yet) but I have a 3-day trip to Richmond coming up and after reading the comments on both FBO's I called first. Million Air told me that they have NO tie downs and that I could leave it "on the ramp". $25 handling fee waived with 10 gallon fuel purchase. If they don't have tie downs and I don't get fuel, what's to handle? And no tie downs?

I'm thoroughly surprised to see a negative word about Million Air RIC, clearly simple vitriol posted by individuals not well versed in the FBO and GA maintenance experience. This place is the very definition of exceptional. From the affable reception crew, to the gents on the ramp, there's not a bad person in the bunch. I commend Million Air for this, to be sure, but it achieves grandeur with its shop. Not once, but twice, at no more notice than arriving on the ramp, Mike Keeling has had my plane in the hangar and unbuttoned within an hour, made diagnosis and had it repaired in similar time. I've been to stateside FBO's in all but Alaska and Hawaii and have yet to see service of this caliber. Anyone that would denigrate this operation is mad. Many thanks Million Air RIC. Sincerely

Great experience. The family dropped in unannounced. Hotel reservations were made for us and car was available within 15 minutes. Well done by Carole. The plane was fueled and ready to go at the scheduled time. Two thumbs up.

My airplane co-owner and I have now had two bad experiences with Million Air. The first was an annual which took three times the quoted time and required a return for adjustment of cables which were done wrong. The second was an avionics upgrade that was to take 4-5 hrs. That's what it took, but we were told that it might take 2 days! We had to call the avionics company to get them to run interference for us. Then we picked up the airplane, and the new avionics were programmed for the wrong airplane! We ended up having to go to Lancaster, PA to get things made right. We will never deal with Million Air again; we were burned twice!

After a terrible experience at "the other guys" on the field, I phoned Million Air, and then taxied over, got fueled and on my way in record time. A huge thank you to everyone there!! They were busy like a beehive, and still managed to turn me around. Every future trip to Richmond (and there are going to be many), I'll be tying down and buying fuel at Million Air. Hassle free, courteous, snappy service. What a contrast!!

Flew in for an overnight stay, and can't recommend Million Air more. Got treated like we own a $20 million Lear (which we don't) instead of the 1969 Piper Arrow (which we do). Thanks for the use of the (brand spanking new) courtesy car and for the discount on the hotel room. Sorry I only bought 25 gal of 100LL.

First time into KRIC. Million Air was super. Entire crew aware of all aspects of our visit. Rental car was waiting...no muss or fuss. Upon return, Anya was very courteous and even agreed to get the "rental car high speed vibration issue" fixed. I wish all FBOs operated like this...

Was going to come in on a heavy jet to Million Air and purchase fuel. Simply asked if they would pick up a catering order for our customer, which was a deal breaker from a place 15 mins away, but they said no. Glad to see business is good.

Stopped in for a quick lunch on Sunday. The folks at Million Air were great - I had reserved a rental car. It was on the ramp, and the lineman marshalled me to a parking spot right next to the car! The service was quick, friendly, and professional. Lunch was at Hillbilly Red's BBQ - about a 5 minute drive from the FBO and well worth the trip. The food was inexpensive and delicious.

Flew into RIC 2/8 with a rough running engine on my Bonanza. Thanks to Mike Keeling and the Million Air staff. Mike immediately brought the plane into the maintenance hangar. Two hours later we were on our way. The expertise and friendly service are much appreciated.

Our company recently operated an An124 flight with outsized cargo out of RIC. The way how everybody from the front desk to the top management supported us in making this operation happen really showed the great spirit the team of Million Air has. The service was exceptional and outstanding. I am sure the same dedication will be given to every C172, P28, King Air or Lear stopping by at Million Air RIC.

. Flew the T206H into RIC/Million Air on Nov. 4th, arriving with a maintenance issue. John Gardner and Mike Keeling were very effective in resolving and fixing the problem, almost immediately the next morning. Thank you. Line and office staff was also friendly and helpful during the entire time at RIC.

They need to send some employees to Million Air KADS to see how a Million Air should be run. Not a horrible experience but not what I expect from Million Air. Have used them in the past and they were good to ok. Will us them again because of the contract fuel price.

We flew our C172 into RIC May 30th. Based on the reports we read here on AirNav we decided to use the FBO at Million Air and weren't disappointed. The folks at Million Air run a top-notch operation! Everyone was very friendly and extremely helpful. Our reservations for a rental car didn't come through and the folks at Million Air jumped right on the phone and had us a car within 20 minutes. The only fees we paid were for the fuel we bought. Definitely will come back here again! These people treat general aviation right! Very easy to get into and out of the Class C airspace of RIC. Potomac Approach and Tower controllers are most helpful.

My instructor and I recently flew into KRIC (07Mar09) FM KPVG utilizing Million Air for a fill-up and was delighted to receive a crew car to get a bite to eat locally ... A very nice BMW I might add. There was no wait time on the ramp and the staff was terrific. I certainly will be back in the future. Cheers

Flew in 2 Mar on the back end of the snowstorm when a foot of snow at home base 2W6 made landing/getting to my hangar problematic. With Class C airspace, commercial traffic and ANG unit, KRIC was fully open although busy with diverted aircraft. Carol was helpful on the phone accommodating my "plan C" for getting back to work and had an Avis rental car waiting. Left the Seneca for 3 days until my hangar was accessible. Great service by Million Air; although Carol apologized for the lack of lineman on the ramp on arrival, they were all scrambling de-icing and fueling other aircraft. A lineman did find me before I drove away about needs for the Seneca. No landing, handling or parking fees and a very reasonable gas price on a 60 gal purchase. Nice job by Million Air Richmond!
