BEST MAINTENANCE SHOP - Had a prop strike on my Supercub. Opted to replace prop and engine with new. Needed plane by weekend. Greg Bove shifted a few annuals around (with owners permission). With the help of Charles Bostic, the other ace A & P, they had me back in the air w/ new engine and prop by Friday as promised! ! Dusty, Thad and Tonya up front were a great help through the whole process too. With the great fuel prices, this is a solid place to stop!

Stopped at RUQ for fuel on Aug. 2 enroute to West Virginia and was grounded for the night due to weather. The FBO folks were WONDERFUL! they helped my family and I get a hotel room and gave us a courtesy car for the night. Good fuel prices, nice facilities, and friendly, helpful people. It doesn't get any better than this folks!

Stopped in for a meeting and found it to be one of the nicer airports I've been to. Self-serve fuel prices were great! Easy to find with a nice, long runway. I will return!

Flew in just after dark from Beaufort, SC, en route to MI for prior arranged appointment with Sandel's East coast tech rep, Charlie Cranford. Mr. Cranford not only installed a new bulb in the MFD, but also troubleshot a problem caused by previous avionics shops & provided recommendation for repair to unit. Sandel owners: "Talk to Charlie!" Staff at Airport was very friendly & so were the other local pilots on hand for a chat about Salisbury, etc. Will stop here again when making a trip South East from Michigan. The ILS was handy at night too.

I stopped at RUQ on the 17th of May on my way to Atlanta. Very nice runway and great fuel price at the self serve pump. The line guy helped push me off the fuel pad and the facilities and staff was very friendly. I stopped on the 20th for fuel and again very pleased with RUQ. The remote freq to CLT approach made the clearance and departure easy for my IFR flight. Highly recommend RUQ for fuel and service.

Stopped on a cross country for a self serve refueling at 9:30 pm last Fri night. The pump only began to pump on the third try. It sounded like it was tearing itself apart. I called earlier in the day to verify everything was working, they said it was. (Well yeah, but not well). Hope they fix it.
