On a recent trip from KALB to KRUT our C-172N had a vacuum pump failure. The service my wife and I received from the staff at Columbia Air Services was outstanding. Katie arranged for next day repairs through local mechanic/operator S.D. Air Services. Al helped make our stay more enjoyable by assiting with transportation to the Hampton Inn. We certainly look forward to returning in the future.

Columbia Air Services were hosts to our National Fly in from 6-18 thru 6-22-08. The crew at Columbia set a terrific example of service. From assistance w/ fueling, rental cars, local knowledge, and a spotlessly clean FBO, we couldn't have asked for a better host. Clean Restrooms; computer and WX help make this a great stop. Lots of local attractions, great meals, and more made Columbia Air Services and RUT a great portal for all visitors to this beautiful Vermont community.

Excellent service! I flew in the day after Thanksgiving and they helped me get a rental car with no reservation (Enterprise is in-town and will pick you up at the FBO, apparently Hertz is also now in the main terminal). When I departed the following day, the preheat service was waived with 20+ gallons of fuel (I took 19.5 from the self-service pump, but the waived the preheat cost anyway). No parking charges either!

One of the most friendly and accommodating FBOs into which I have ever flown. Special thanks to Al.

Went up in their aircraft and they had great instructors and a nice FBO.

Flew into Rutland State on Sept 17th. The folks at Columbia were really helpful with everything we needed and the gas was as posted. We stayed two days and enjoyed it. Beautiful state.

It’s hard to believe but the guaranteed price is real. Filled up today and it is by far the best price I've found in the area, come and get it. Columbia is still giving great service and now an unbelievable price to match.

I experienced excellent service from Columbia Air Services on my recent visit to the Rutland area. I arrived in a C-172 for 6 nights. Columbia coordinated a rental car for me - had it waiting on the ramp when I arrived. The fuel was reasonable, but the best was waiving all 6 nights' parking fees with the fuel purchase! I will definitely be back.

Flew in a couple of weeks ago and tried the self serve pump, it was turned off, had to get someone to turn it on, not sure if it's supposed to be 24hrs but be aware that it might be off, or call ahead. Parking is $10 per nite with one nite waived for fuel purchase even with ss, $5 for plug in. The tie downs were frozen over and no ropes attached. I had to pick the ice out with a screwdriver to get my tiedowns attached. But all in all minor issues, just be aware of them.

These guys know how to run an airport. We are skiers and frequent the facility during the worst weather to be out on the ramp. Over the years we have had several instances where we just needed a little extra help. We have a ski car that they are more than willing to jump for us. The line guys are more than willing to drag out the pre-heat as needed. This kind of service is wonderful and really does benefit the whole community. We are spending money at Killington, eating out and staying in the local hotels because it is so convenient to use RUT
