We flew in on July 4th, did not need gas, but wanted food. They gave us one of the best crew cars I have ever had, at no charge. They had maps already printed to show people how to get into town. I highly recommend them, but remember that for such service, we should put some gas into the car.

We got snowed in a Rutland a couple of weekends back and the guys at Columbia were great. The airport closed for a day. They set us up with a heated hangar after the plane got coated with 1/4" of ice under a foot 1/2 foot of snow. Great skiing. The kids were really bummed out they had to miss an extra day of school to ski at Killington another day. It's important to get stuck in good places

The FBO did an excellent job arranging space - heated hangar for my plane. Flew up from Richmond for a few days of family fun and skiing. Excellent airport, FB0 gets an A+ from me. Easy in and out, very nice people. Bravo.

Great people here to take care of you. I spent 3 days here and found the FBO very accommodating and helpful.

Don't use the email address; I sent several emails to it over a weeklong period and there was never a response. But this FBO definitely went above-and-beyond during the five days I was based at Rutland. They worked hard to get a rental car up from town and out onto the tarmac even through I would be returning to the field after they were closed. I was flying in and out in the middle of July and they let my passengers cool off inside while I was pre-flighting the plane. They had the plane fueled right when I needed it, and had a suggestion for a maintenance possibility when I was curious about getting the oil changed. Other than the email problem, a top notch FBO even though it is a small operation.

A very nice airport, good rental car options and the FBO guys are great. Always helpful and friendly - will drive your rental car right up to the plane and are usually out to greet you and tie down the aircraft as you are taxiing up (especially helpful at night). I fly in here regularly in a Cirrus and get Gulfstream service. Field is surrounded by hills so no ILS and LOC only gets you to 1200' AGL.

We were scheduled for departure from RUT on the evening of Saturday, Sept 26th. The C-172N we were flying had a battery failure and we couldn't get it started. Ben, from line services came by to help. It was a rental airplane and we were not sure how to plug in auxiliary power. Ben was exceptionally helpful in trying to figure it out. He spent time going through the POH with me, called an A&P mechanic he knew (the shop on the field was closed at the time), and when we realized there was no easy way to get the jump, Ben helped us secure the plane, organized a one-way rental car long after the Hertz counter had closed, dropped us to the car rental pickup area and stayed with us until we were on our way. He went above and beyond to help us. We will definitely return!

Arrived after closing but called in advance and coordinated a rental car with Hertz to be left inside the fence (Enterprise would not leave a car). Got minimal fuel - 2 night stay and was not charged a tie down. Very friendly and helpful.
