Visited KSAT overnight the first weekend of August 08. Line guy was very friendly and helped pack the car. The same guy was there and helped getting off the next morning. $15 tie down without fuel and $10 with. Their internet wasn't working so had to get a briefing over the phone. Okay bathrooms and a coke machine in the back. Overall, not a bad experience though.

Line and office people were friendly, but less than skillful. Despite my explicit instructions, line personnel who spoke little English filled my Archer to "top" instead of "tabs" as instructed. Management made no attempt to waive ramp fee as a courtesy for the misunderstanding. Also, found an over charge of $23 on my Enterprise Car Rental charge due to office incorrectly reporting to Enterprise that I brought the car back late. Office worked to straighten it out which was appreciated.

I have struggled with this, but I flew in back in November, line people were nice. I was pointed the way out in car, but went south off the airport on wrong road (not a taxi way or runway) Could not see the correct gate due to fuel trucks and building. Security called the manager and he told them to "throw the book at me" Little did he know my pilot was in the lounge and heard the conversation. When I spoke to the girl at the counter she stated it happens all the time that people go out the wrong way. I feel the people are nice, good fuel prices, however they did not top off my plane, but the manager is in need of a new job opportunity.

I had a good experience with NAYAK Aviation. I arrived on 18 May and departed on 21 May. Even though I was at odd hours they took me over to the car rental office. No unreasonable high fees like some FBO's. Will definitely use them next time I am in town.
