Had a flat tire as I parked. It was Friday evening but the mechanic came in next morning on his day off to fix us up. I left only 30 minutes later than planned and paid no extra. Great people and service!

Fantastic experience dealing with Ed and the rest of the staff at Boreal. Arrived on Dec 14, after (and during) several days of heavy lake effect snows throughout the area (maybe it wasn't heavy for Marquette, but it sure was for a pilot from Ohio!). In the days and hours leading up to our arrival, the folks at Boreal were very helpful and friendly responding to my requests regarding runway/ramp conditions, hangar space, and rental car arrangements. They also went above and beyond when it became necessary to use a battery cart to help us get restarted again.

Have been there twice in the last four weeks. Great service with friendly people. Can arrange rental car through Boreal ahead of time. However, if you call rental car company tell them to leave your car at Boreal.

Ramp fee reported not to apply to single engine aircraft. The self-service 100LL card reader is inop, so the FBO has to turn on the pump. Very friendly, helpful FBO, huge airport... They deserve more traffic.
