Flew in yesterday and Greg went above and beyond. He met me @ the plane with a golf cart. Helped with bags. Gave my 3-year-old daughter and me a ride to the Jet Center. My wife was there to pick us up. I had to move the plane and park on the westside due to construction. He had my wife follow him to the other side of the field to pick me up. He made sure all was well before he left. All for a little SR22. Thank you Greg.

From Vincent Wilkins on 21-Sep-2009
The service was great and Jim B. of San Luis Jet Center went the extra mile to help out me and my crew as KSBP was our alternate and on our return Jim got us from sacked-in Oceano back to our plane at KSBP.

From Steve Hines on 09-Sep-2009
The service at the San Luis Jet Center is always top notch and very friendly. We always get great treatment; help with bags, rental cars, etc. They make our vacation trips just that much nicer.

From Rob Larson on 30-Aug-2009
Great FBO with attentive service. Felt welcomed and even the use of a brand new prius crew car when I am just a single engine driver.

From G Moncur on 19-Aug-2009
To be honest, I first started landing here for the cookies at the FBO and the sandwiches at the Firestone Grill. Saturday was no exception. Even on such a busy flying day, the crew was doing everything they could to help -- from keeping my older kids amused while I strapped the car seats in, to shuttling us to / from the parking area several times for various needs. Bottom line: they recognized a weary traveler and did everything they could to earn my business: even en "small aluminum" instead of "big iron." I will be back.

From Robert Anderson on 16-Aug-2009
Have used the FBO several times. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. They will try very hard to get you a crew car or rental, as you require. Facilities are clean and very professional. Highly recommend this FBO.

WOW!!! Flew into SBP from AZ on Sunday (8/9/09). Needed to drive to Atascadero. Normally I go to one of the 4 major car rental counters at the airport and get a car. All of them said they had no cars and no idea when they would get one. They said they didn't know why, but were booked up for the next 3 weeks. Stopped by the jet center to register the plane and told my sad story to Anita who said she might be able to help. Went to the Spirit of San Luis on the field for lunch (a great restaurant - but another review) and when I got back to the jet center she had located a rental car (Enterprise) and it would be there in a few minutes. Weekend saved!!! While there I saw a family that was on vacation, whose car had been "overbooked" by the car rental company, loading their luggage in the jet centers owners personal BMW to use for the weekend. In this day and age when everyone asks you to check the "Exceeds Expectations" on the follow up customer survey, these people actually do it!!

After my last post, the manager, Andrew called to apologize and asked me to return. We flew in for the Memorial Day weekend and things were like our first visit. Ally was at the counter and warmly welcomed us, along with an apology and desire to help. Line guys took the fuel order and were headed to the airplane before we left the terminal. When we departed Tuesday, everyone was friendly and again wanted us to return. Andrew linked up with me on the ramp to personally say hello and apologize. Everyone bent over backwards to make things right. You succeeded and I will return! Thank you for your prompt attention and kindness. Ally, kudos to you!

Flew into San Luis Obispo last week. Was met by Jet Center follow-me vehicle and assited to parking. Helped with bags and rental car. Everyone was very nice and helpful. My only gripe is that I asked the line guy for 20 gallons of fuel and when I arrived back at the airplane the following day, I found it was not fueled in the interim 30 hrs. Pretty frustrating!

From Bob O'Neill on 07-Apr-2009
I spoke too soon!!! I returned on Saturday April 4th. I called ahead this time and gave the young lady at the counter our arrival time, N number, fuel needs, and crew car request. When we arrived no lineman greeted us or placed chocks. When we walked into the terminal, I found two line guys and a young lady at the counter talking. I got the distinct impression our arrival was a bother to them. No water, coffee, refreshments or offers of help of any kind. We were told the crew car was out but we could sit on the couch and wait. I scrounged around in the cabinet to find cups to drink lukewarm coffee I found. No one offered help, information, conversation, interest or concern, while three employees stood at the counter. I can't believe difference of a few days time. I recommend GA pilots find another option when visiting SBP, or bypass in favor of another airport.

Great FBO! Stopped there March 31 for a few hour visit to San Luis Obispo. Ramp crew met us as we taxied in with a Piper Arrow, placed chocks, took our fuel order, and gave us a ride to the terminal. Counter staff, Ally and Brea, was really friendly, made sure we had refreshments, info on local attractions, and provided a crew car to make a downtown run for lunch. Everyone was quite friendly, pleasant and helpful. Will definitely use them for our future trips to SLO.

From Kyle Rabiyan on 08-Mar-2009
After flying for 5-6 hours from Carlsbad to Salinas, then back down to SBP, I was looking for a place to grab something cold to drink and a place to rest. I parked in the transient, and walked over to the FBO. They took my information down for the fuel and I slept for several hours in their pilot lounge that has the most comfortable recliners I have ever sat in! Everyone was friendly, and the next morning, they even offered my passenger and me a ride to the plane. They are by far one of the best FBO's I've been to, and that's saying alot considering I'm from Palomar Airport where I have Premier Jet, and Jet Source to compare to.

From Kenneth Adelman on 22-Dec-2008
Sad to say, I dropped off an Angel Flight here, was on the ramp for no more than 10 minutes, yet still had to pay a $150 ramp fee for a Citation.

From Inger Fahmi on 24-Nov-2008
Stopped by on 11-23-08 and filled up for $3.48/gallon self-serve. Can't beat those prices. Note: if you reserve an Enterprise car through the Jet Center, Enterprise charges $72 per day! Save yourself some money and just get a Hertz or Avis car at the Terminal for $53/day. The rental car parking lot is literally right next door to the Jet Center, so you'll save $19 by avoiding Enterprise.

From John Trudel on 25-Sep-2008
This is a great fuel stop. Excellent prices and quick in and out. The only caution is to be sure you get good taxi instructions (the ramp layout and signage is a bit confusing to get back out to rwy 29, as there is no taxiway on the "self serve fuel" side that goes to the end -- I asked for progressive).

From Neeraj Pendse on 28-Aug-2008
Flew into SBP for the weekend in a Single. Excellent facilities and great service. They reserve a rental car for you as well. I called them on the Unicom after landing and by the time we shut down, they brought the car to the plane.

From Ted Cacouris on 17-Aug-2008
Sarah at the Jet Center was extremely helpful. We arrived late afternoon for an overnight at San Luis, and she provided recommendations for the area, took care of refueling, and called the hotel shuttle for pickup. The next morning, we got a crew car for a couple of hours (2 hr max) and used it to visit the area before departing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

From Michael Sutton on 14-Aug-2008
Ground control will direct you to transient parking, a short walk from the Jet Center. Their facilities are first-class, and the staff is very helpful. The restaurant at SBP is okay (nothing special) but it's a quick stop as you can park adjacent if you're only staying for a meal.

From Glenn Hatch on 04-Aug-2008
What a nice airport and great people. Car was scheduled, fuel was the lowest around and the weather was beautiful. I 'll return next week.

From Patrick Gasaway on 11-Jul-2008
Super service! Called a couple weeks prior and booked a car through Enterprise which was pulled up to the plane (piston single) as we landed. No follow-up call needed. Dropped my passengers, was re-fueled and on my way in no time. Highly recommended. PS: SB Approach and tower are really friendly too.

From Brett Bieberdorf on 28-Jun-2008
Very nice facility. Our car was waiting; cookies and coffee were in the waiting area. Nice pilot lounge and friendly personnel. We would definitely park here when we visit SLO again.

From Jim Maher on 27-May-2008
This place is sweet! It's first class throughout. Wife loves the 5 stars rated bathrooms; I enjoy the pilot facilities. Kids indulge themselves with the fresh cookies, leather chairs and plasma TVs. Very convenient to the restaurant and rental cars. The staff is very polite and helpful. Easy in and out.

From Mike Helow on 27-May-2008
We arrived with 14 guests on short notice. The FBO helped with great hotels, arranged fantastic wine tours, and reserved a great dinner in downtown. Fantastic service. Nice job Loni. Our VIPs were very impressed.

From Colin Summers on 19-Apr-2008
We just flew up on Saturday to visit San Simeon (an hour's drive from the airport). Dara, on the phone in the morning, couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. She arranged the rental car and took the information about the plane. The forms were all filled out when we arrived and I just signed in a few places and we were on our way. Definitely one of my favorite stops.

From Michael Crisafulli on 01-Oct-2007
We arranged for a rental car through the staff at San Luis Jet Center. I asked for the least expensive car we could get as we were only in town overnight. An Enterprise rental car was delivered for a grand total of $72.00 (I.E. $3.60/Mile). I subsequently checked Avis (located at the airport) and it was quoted at $28.00 plus tax. Enterprise defends their pricing and has therefore lost this customer for life. On another note, SLJC fuel was reasonably priced and their staff was both friendly and courteous.

From Tim Lewis on 27-Aug-2007
Great fuel stop. The self-serve pump ran out of gas just as I arrived, but they had the truck fired up in moments and fueled me at the SS price. Easy in & out, friendly tower.

From Inger Fahmi on 26-Aug-2007
The guaranteed price on AirNav is $3.71 but we fueled up for $3.64. That was a nice surprise. As always, we experienced excellent, friendly service from the Jet Center. Enterprise cars are a bit pricey -- $42 plus taxes for the day, plus a $10 drop-off fee. Recommend Hertz or Avis in the terminal instead. However, the Jet Center is a top-notch FBO and we will certainly be back frequently.

From Lawrence Calder on 01-Aug-2007
Stopped here for lunch and fuel. Spirit of San Luis is an excellent restaurant for lunch $22/couple including tip, and would eagerly return. Service by FBO for fuel was excellent. They require a credit card # before fueling as they've been burned by some pilots beforehand (too bad!!). They accepted my credit card # over the phone (from the restaurant), and fueled my plane while I lunched. Bathrooms were clean and I would return.

From Jim Webber on 19-Jul-2007
The "guaranteed" self-serve price on AirNav is 3.98/gal, but today (July 19th) I paid 3.94/gal. I guess I got lucky.

From Mac Tichenor on 24-Jun-2007
Flew in on a busy Saturday - called ahead on Unicom for a quick turn. They marshaled me in and had the truck there before the prop stopped spinning. Everyone from the linemen to the desk staff was efficient and delightful. The best service I've ever received at an FBO, period.

From Jon Nevin on 18-Jun-2007
Flew in 172 on Friday. Nice airport to fly into with beautiful surroundings. Staff OK; definitely seem more concerned with jets. Nice facility, quick fueling, I will return.

From Michael Sutton on 02-Jun-2007
Great facilities and staff. The Jet Center continues to provide an unparalleled level of service to transient GA pilots.

From Ryan Joseph on 20-Mar-2007
The facility is very nice. The people are helpful and kind. Located right next to the restaurant is a plus. Will come back.

From Inger Fahmi on 04-Dec-2006
Self-serve pumps for both JetA and 100LL are working as of 12-3-06. We refilled our Arrow for $3.37/gallon. That's the best deal in California behind Oroville ($3.25) and Tehachapi ($2.99) right now. As always, the San Luis Jet Center was friendly and helpful, with nice facilities and a good flight-planning room.
