Stopped by on 11-23-08 and filled up for $3.48/gallon self-serve. Can't beat those prices. Note: if you reserve an Enterprise car through the Jet Center, Enterprise charges $72 per day! Save yourself some money and just get a Hertz or Avis car at the Terminal for $53/day. The rental car parking lot is literally right next door to the Jet Center, so you'll save $19 by avoiding Enterprise.

This is a great fuel stop. Excellent prices and quick in and out. The only caution is to be sure you get good taxi instructions (the ramp layout and signage is a bit confusing to get back out to rwy 29, as there is no taxiway on the "self serve fuel" side that goes to the end -- I asked for progressive).

Flew into SBP for the weekend in a Single. Excellent facilities and great service. They reserve a rental car for you as well. I called them on the Unicom after landing and by the time we shut down, they brought the car to the plane.

From Ted Cacouris on 17-Aug-2008
Sarah at the Jet Center was extremely helpful. We arrived late afternoon for an overnight at San Luis, and she provided recommendations for the area, took care of refueling, and called the hotel shuttle for pickup. The next morning, we got a crew car for a couple of hours (2 hr max) and used it to visit the area before departing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

From Michael Sutton on 14-Aug-2008
Ground control will direct you to transient parking, a short walk from the Jet Center. Their facilities are first-class, and the staff is very helpful. The restaurant at SBP is okay (nothing special) but it's a quick stop as you can park adjacent if you're only staying for a meal.

From Glenn Hatch on 04-Aug-2008
What a nice airport and great people. Car was scheduled, fuel was the lowest around and the weather was beautiful. I 'll return next week.

From Patrick Gasaway on 11-Jul-2008
Super service! Called a couple weeks prior and booked a car through Enterprise which was pulled up to the plane (piston single) as we landed. No follow-up call needed. Dropped my passengers, was re-fueled and on my way in no time. Highly recommended. PS: SB Approach and tower are really friendly too.

From Brett Bieberdorf on 28-Jun-2008
Very nice facility. Our car was waiting; cookies and coffee were in the waiting area. Nice pilot lounge and friendly personnel. We would definitely park here when we visit SLO again.

From Jim Maher on 27-May-2008
This place is sweet! It's first class throughout. Wife loves the 5 stars rated bathrooms; I enjoy the pilot facilities. Kids indulge themselves with the fresh cookies, leather chairs and plasma TVs. Very convenient to the restaurant and rental cars. The staff is very polite and helpful. Easy in and out.

From Mike Helow on 27-May-2008
We arrived with 14 guests on short notice. The FBO helped with great hotels, arranged fantastic wine tours, and reserved a great dinner in downtown. Fantastic service. Nice job Loni. Our VIPs were very impressed.

From Colin Summers on 19-Apr-2008
We just flew up on Saturday to visit San Simeon (an hour's drive from the airport). Dara, on the phone in the morning, couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. She arranged the rental car and took the information about the plane. The forms were all filled out when we arrived and I just signed in a few places and we were on our way. Definitely one of my favorite stops.

From Michael Crisafulli on 01-Oct-2007
We arranged for a rental car through the staff at San Luis Jet Center. I asked for the least expensive car we could get as we were only in town overnight. An Enterprise rental car was delivered for a grand total of $72.00 (I.E. $3.60/Mile). I subsequently checked Avis (located at the airport) and it was quoted at $28.00 plus tax. Enterprise defends their pricing and has therefore lost this customer for life. On another note, SLJC fuel was reasonably priced and their staff was both friendly and courteous.

From Tim Lewis on 27-Aug-2007
Great fuel stop. The self-serve pump ran out of gas just as I arrived, but they had the truck fired up in moments and fueled me at the SS price. Easy in & out, friendly tower.

From Inger Fahmi on 26-Aug-2007
The guaranteed price on AirNav is $3.71 but we fueled up for $3.64. That was a nice surprise. As always, we experienced excellent, friendly service from the Jet Center. Enterprise cars are a bit pricey -- $42 plus taxes for the day, plus a $10 drop-off fee. Recommend Hertz or Avis in the terminal instead. However, the Jet Center is a top-notch FBO and we will certainly be back frequently.

From Lawrence Calder on 01-Aug-2007
Stopped here for lunch and fuel. Spirit of San Luis is an excellent restaurant for lunch $22/couple including tip, and would eagerly return. Service by FBO for fuel was excellent. They require a credit card # before fueling as they've been burned by some pilots beforehand (too bad!!). They accepted my credit card # over the phone (from the restaurant), and fueled my plane while I lunched. Bathrooms were clean and I would return.

From Jim Webber on 19-Jul-2007
The "guaranteed" self-serve price on AirNav is 3.98/gal, but today (July 19th) I paid 3.94/gal. I guess I got lucky.

From Mac Tichenor on 24-Jun-2007
Flew in on a busy Saturday - called ahead on Unicom for a quick turn. They marshaled me in and had the truck there before the prop stopped spinning. Everyone from the linemen to the desk staff was efficient and delightful. The best service I've ever received at an FBO, period.

From Jon Nevin on 18-Jun-2007
Flew in 172 on Friday. Nice airport to fly into with beautiful surroundings. Staff OK; definitely seem more concerned with jets. Nice facility, quick fueling, I will return.

From Michael Sutton on 02-Jun-2007
Great facilities and staff. The Jet Center continues to provide an unparalleled level of service to transient GA pilots.

From Ryan Joseph on 20-Mar-2007
The facility is very nice. The people are helpful and kind. Located right next to the restaurant is a plus. Will come back.

From Inger Fahmi on 04-Dec-2006
Self-serve pumps for both JetA and 100LL are working as of 12-3-06. We refilled our Arrow for $3.37/gallon. That's the best deal in California behind Oroville ($3.25) and Tehachapi ($2.99) right now. As always, the San Luis Jet Center was friendly and helpful, with nice facilities and a good flight-planning room.

From Inger Fahmi on 20-Nov-2006
Stopped by on 11-20-06. The self-serve pump is out of service, but they gave us the self-serve price ($3.44) from the truck since we taxied over to the pumps. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly, and gave us a free crew car for a couple hours so we could go into town. I highly recommend the San Luis Jet Center.

From Scott Naumann on 20-Nov-2006
Self Serve Fuel out of Service on 11/19/2006. A call to Unicom brought a fuel truck right away and full service at self-serve prices. Hours of service unknown. Use caution when the fuel pump returns to service. The auto shutoff did not work last time I used the self-serve pump.

From Allen Patterson on 08-Sep-2006
Late night arrival with wife & Skylane-last VFR in due to fog, unfamiliar, stopped off Runway 29 to determine transient parking. Javier Duran, Ops Mgr. In follow me cart saved us the time & effort. His professional, courteous & enthusiastic attitude at this late hour was very refreshing after 7 hr flying day. 2 trips with cart to office with bags-yes, you can fill up a Skylane-was beyond the call of duty. Coffee & hotel shuttle arranged thanks to Javier. An excellent experience, not to mention the lowest fuel prices! Adage of Business is People certainly fit here. Much appreciated.

From Barry Wulf on 15-Aug-2006
Fantastic service. We called about 10 minutes out. The fuel truck was waiting when we taxied in. Very friendly and professional. Very accommodating and helpful. Well staffed and answered on UNICOM expeditiously. I wish they were all this good!

From Earl Werner on 14-Aug-2006
Over the past year, much improved service and more reasonable fuel prices. On 8/10, they gave me the self serve price from their fuel truck rather than making me wait 30 minutes for them to finish repairs on the self serve pump.

From Stephen Gray on 14-Aug-2006
What a helpful and cheerful bunch of people. On arrival I called up on Unicom and they drove my rental car out to the aircraft, arranged for fuel etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Sarah (the lady with the beautiful smile !!!)

From Bill Ferrier on 13-Aug-2006
The self-serve pumps are now up and working and the cost is about .60 cheaper than off the truck. The folks at the jet center are very helpful, with several beautiful women working there! One approach note. I approach SBP from the north and pass Paso Robles. San Jose is on 124.00. SBP is on 124.00. I am usually hearing both towers until I am about 15 miles from SBP. I am surprised that two busy airports have the same frequency. I thought I was in the twilight zone first time this happened until I figured out I was hearing San Jose.

From Philip Greenspun on 09-Jun-2006
Efficient quick-turn for our Robinson R44 helicopter. Fuel prices much lower than in the bigger cities.
