The taxiway and ramp was under construction so we taxied to the fuel pump via the grass runway and behind the T hangars. We were met and helped with pumping the fuel. Unfortunately, the helper didn't point out the credit card machine at the corner of the hangar. When we went inside they couldn't run the card. No problem, they let us go with a promise of payment by check. Courtesy car and a quick trip to town for lunch next to the Green Giant completed our stop. Very friendly service and when the ramp is completed it will be great!

We enjoyed a great stop on our way to OSH. The local folks were eating lunch and invited us to join them. Very nice! The credit card reader is at the corner of the nearby hangar (from the pump). It takes a few minutes to produce a receipt after you finish fueling.

Make a point of stopping by this airport. Borrow the courtesy car and drive into town to Cedar Inn, a summertime drive-in that reminds you of the 1950s and serves up very good burgers and root beer in a frosted mug. And make sure you talk with the CFI back at the airport. This little place has everything a small-town airport should - visit and enjoy.
