We have operated an industrial type helicopter out of JETAIR on a fairly regular contract basis, for a number of years. We have always been treated very well. We get movie star parking. The desk staff goes out of their way to provide personal service, and keep costs low. The ramp crew is well above the norm. They handle a lot of aircraft, as if by magic it seems. And then work our helicopter into the mix. Great crew.

I can't say enough about the group at Jet Air. I had two arrivals here in a day. Both times my passengers' cars and needs were taken care of expeditiously. The line agents actually hustled and helped us quick turn so we could get back and do it again. Melissa was fantastic and even worked with us to lower our fuel bill. She not only met, but also beat our contract fuel price, which was very competitive for the area. I have stayed here for two days and have enjoyed the area. I had two great dinners within 10 miles of the airport. Overall a great experience from the ladies and gentleman from Jet Air.

I usually don't write comments, but feel this may greatly save a fellow pilot from a long-boring day at an airport not fitted for Jet traffic. The biggest problem here is the location as you are out in the middle of nowhere in El Cajon/Santee (NOT San Diego). El Cajon/Santee is NOT where you want to be unless you like slummy motels and fast food. So your only option is to rent a car and drive over 30 min each way (if there is no traffic) into downtown San Diego or La Jolla (a beautiful upscale beach community). As I was rotting away in Jet Air's pilot lounge listening to the employees fight and bicker I came to an epiphany "Next time I'm flying into Lindbergh Field (KSAN) or Carlsbad (KCRQ)". KSAN fuel price is slightly higher but you save on a rental car and 1 hrs. worth of driving for you and your pax. KCRQ has even cheaper fuel than Jet Air and a beautiful beach community minutes away with 1st class FBO's that offer "service" (a concept Jet Air seems very unfamiliar with). Hope this helps!Response from Wafaa Stelse, Operation Manager, Jet Air FBO James, First of all we do have crew cars available. Did you ask for one? You do have the option to fly into SAN and pay over $6.50/gal and not sure what kind of plane you fly buy judging from your email a G-IV pilot you can also except to $750.00 for ramp fee! Slummy hotel...I guess Holiday Inn is slummy nowadays? As for restaurants you would have to drive 30 minutes...less than a mile we Olive Garden, Mimi's Cafe, Chili's, Denny's and many more!

I have been using Jet Air for the past 3 years and can't say enough nice things about them. The linemen are the best. So nice and friendly and go out of their way for us. They usually have hot cookies to go with the hot coffee. My kids love the candy jar. Not to mention the facility is the nicest FBO I've ever been to. Bathrooms are like a country club, clean and well stocked. Daily stack of newspapers and bottled water to take with you. Gas is high, but the service, comfort and competence of the team is worth it.

I am in and out of Jet Air on a weekly basis. The facility is very clean and all the people there are very attentive. They are also very careful when moving planes, they have excellent equipment (Lektro tugs, like new fuel trucks) and well trained line crew. Recently they added a staff of highly trained and experienced service techs straight from Tom Nolan's famous shop at Crownair. Keep an eye on these guys they are changing the complexion of KSEE airport!
