Great airport in an excellent location in PA. I only wish they had a place to eat, and this place would be PERFECT!

Stopped 11/24/07 to pick up extended family for flight throughout area. Facility was clean and the Lineman-Butch was helpful and a pleasure to speak with...If your looking for a place to stop with nice facilities and cheap fuel, this is it! Hopefully, they will consider another adding a place for easy dining!

Stuck here for FIVE nights during the Great Stationary Warm Front of Aug 2007. They were all really nice to me. Sue, Dave, Rich, Glenn looked out for my plane, and didn't charge me a tie down. I was quite pitied. The Comfort Inn was a great location, walking distance to the plane, and a mall/Wal-mart/Dennys within 5 minutes. Great place to be stuck. Note to self: Don't come back without an IFR ticket.

Flew in C-182 27Dec06; phoned ahead for Avgas price ($3.80 exactly as advertised). Radioed on Unicom 10 miles out; was provided airport advisory & instructed where to pull up for fuel service. Left plane for 45 minutes to grab lunch w/friends meeting us on the ramp (easy access). Plane & bill were ready and waiting upon return. Nice facility friendly & efficient. Good lounge/setup for calling FSS and Weather info. Will definitely be back. Very close to town and easy to spot from the air!

Flew in today on business in my 172 and found the folks to be friendly and helpful. I would stop here again.

We came back and found the folks nice and much more customer oriented so would recommend the airport.

After parking aircraft by myself, walked into smoky FBO to find the manager on a personal phone call. She looked at us several times, and kept on talking and smoking. After 15 minutes of staring at her, (we just wanted to ask about BUYING fuel) did some exploring and found a friendly line tech in the lounge area, who told me to taxi to the fuel farm for gas. After getting fuel, I had to wait for the MANAGER to get off of the phone (still) so the credit card machine could dial. Won't be back there soon. I never had such a tough time trying to spend $150. This is a shame because this is a modern facility (with no heat in the lobby.) What a waste. I hope there is a swift management change.
