About to go back nearly 9 months later and they still block facebook on the wifi. I've been to probably 25 similar FBO's on the West Coast and no one else does this. I literally am making a special request with Mgmt to get access to facebook while I'm there. It might seem petty to them, but I run an ad agency and need that access. Treat your employees like you want, but don't let that affect your customers.

This is a follow-up on a previous review. I've continued to be a frequent customer of Signature SFO and I have been pleasantly surprised to see customer service improve over the last few months. I hope this continues to be a positive trend upwards. Employees are courteous, aircraft are fueled noticeably faster than before (even lowly pistons), and gate opening is relatively prompt. Keep up the good work!

We go in here frequently. If you're in a jet, you will probably be taken care of. If you're in an air ambulance, you'll typically be taken care of after the jets. Pilot lounge & briefing room are very nice, the staff is typically friendly, but as others have pointed out, they seem to lack an understanding of time-critical operations. Letting an ambulance on the ramp to pickup a critical patient? Averages 5 minutes to find someone to open the gate (unless they're busy loading bags on a jet - I was asked to wait!). May take another 5 minutes to let them out. Plan on 40 minutes at minimum to fuel. Thanks to the lack of a competitor on the field, you'll get to pay a hefty 'service fee' for this experience, unless you buy 50+ gallons of fuel. Not a pleasant experience.

I get the fees.. It's SFO but to charge extra for a GPU when you are already charging what you are charging to give us no service anyways is ridiculous. For the amount you are charging this should be included in the ramp fee. In addition to that.. Signature SFO can surely afford to pay WSI a little extra so pilot's can have access to the 5 minute radar service instead of the 15 min radar only. If Signature is committed to safety on the ground then surely you should be concerned about everyone's safety in the air.. The one's that keep this business open.

This FBO I can't go to again and work while my clients are out. They block facebook, eBay and many other sites from their wifi. Keeping me from running my advertising business. I get that they can't trust their employees to behave like adults and work while they are getting paid. But what I cannot comprehend is the audacity to let that affect their customers. Won't visit again. I'm small potatoes so they should not care.

Fueler and the guy driving the shuttle were very friendly. Nice crew car. They took care of us, but comments below regarding concept of time and sense of urgency are accurate.

We visit Signature quite often and really find it a rather frustrating place. There seems to be no sense of urgency or any real concept of time there. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's the middle of the day or the middle of the night. Whether they're busy with other aircraft, or not. I don't understand this as other Signature FBO's are not like this. I believe there needs to be a real shift in the focus (or lack of focus) on customer support. Fees? For what???

We stop in here every couple of months & the service experience differs every time. This time, the Line techs were friendly & there was actually a little personality (almost friendly) from the people behind the desk! The fees are outrageous which is typical Signature (but like the previous poster noted, this IS SFO) but at least the Signature price structure gives us pilots a decent place to wait. It is a busy Int'l airport but the controllers do a good job getting us "little guys" in & out of there. Oh yeah, don't forget to ask them for some of that San Fran Sourdough Bread they've got behind the counter!
