Nice fueling equipment with shade and a garbage can for your oil bottle. Remember to put your sump gas in the reservoir provided.

Great fuel stop! Beautiful airport...saw P-51, T-38, T2. Self-serve pump is just below the tower, where there are bathrooms & vending machines.

SS is great and easy access-I think it is the cheapest in the state of FL! Would not eat at the fly-by cafe though, bathrooms were very dirty and the place did not give us a good feeling.

Great fuel stop going to the Bahamas! Friendly control tower, and easy in and out.

From Cameron Grady on 25-Dec-2006
This s a great fuel stop. Has everything one would want, towered field, instrument approaches, and a great fuel price. The facilities were in great shape and had no problems fueling my aircraft.

Outstanding! The pump is brand new and pumps at a very high rate (did not take long to fill my Baron). The pump is located below the tower and is situated at the top of a "U-Shaped" drive through. There are clean bathrooms at the bottom of the tower. The Credit-Card reader works easily and is under an awning. Price is the best around. The airport has a tower and it made my instrument approach and departure (in IMC) very easy. Get gas here and you will have enough money left over to get a good diner at your destination.

Very nice fueling facilities. Great price. Kudos to those who help keep GA going!! Friendly ATC folks as well.

SGJ has my vote as the best airport to refuel at in FL (also with cheapest SS avgas). Now if only Galaxy would allow pistons to overnight near the ramp as opposed to a half-mile away, it would be perfect.

I flew in from KPIE for some X-country flying and stopped in at the restaurant for some lunch. Wonderful place to stop and get fuel and lunch (Try the Buffalo burger). No problems using the facilities very clean 24hr/7days a week accessible restrooms and fuel at base of tower. People in the tower/restaurant/FBO very friendly. This is one of the best stop I have made. Last but most important best fuel price I have seen at $2.89 for 100LL.

Can't beat the fuel price. Great stop for that reason alone. Taxied to Galaxy and parked and had a great lunch at the local cafe.

Stayed overnight at Galaxy Aviation. Had a bit of a fueling mix-up but the FBO manager and staff were very professional and quickly fixed the problem. We were on our way right on time. I have flown my own small plane and business jets into Galaxy at SGJ, SUA and MCO and have always been treated well.

One of the best fuel stops in the South East. Excellent facility.

Fly in on my way to West Palm Beach from Nashville. Self serve work great, fuel price was great and the airport tower and facility were great.

From Bruce Payne on 15-Mar-2006
The most convenient and easiest towered airport fuel stop on the south Atlantic coast. No problems using the self serve, $2.89/gal as advertised, receipt printing pump. No problems using the very clean 24hr/7days a week accessible restrooms at base of tower; and with picnic benches, it looks more like a scenic overlook rest-stop. A must-stop for anyone making that long mid-to-south Atlantic cross country.

From Bill Heybruck on 25-Jan-2006
Stopped there yesterday on way from CLT to PBI. Controllers VERY friendly. Cheap gas at bottom of tower (self serve). CLEAN rest rooms and drink machine there too. Easy to operate pump. A REAL short taxi to runway if taking off to WEST (as I was). Worth the extra time if you need to stop close.

From Dio Aspiras on 02-Jan-2006
Very nice facilities. It's worth stopping to get some fuel if you have a little time to get cheap gas! Controller's helped to taxi you and get you out quickly. Highly recommended for the money saver.
