Arrived after hours on a Friday night and parked at the terminal for a long weekend. Plenty of transient parking ($5/night, or free during the day) right outside the terminal, and an ample supply of chocks. They had convenient self-pay envelopes for tiedowns inside the terminal, with really nice passenger, pilot lounge, and planning facilities. On my way home, met the airport manager who was super helpful to us on our way out. Easy to use fuel pumps at a great price right across from the terminal building.

I arrived in an Arrow IV for a visit to the Minneapolis area. The self-serve fuel pump was easy to use and cheaper than any other field in the area. The lineman parked us right next to the office and had an extension cord ready to use for our engine oil heater. (It was only about 15 degrees out so this was much appreciated!) The office and lounge is very clean and welcoming with numerous military airplane models hanging from the ceiling and in displays. There is also a very nice display honoring the sacrifice of Capt. Fleming, for whom the field is named. The manager called Enterprise for our rental car (which arrived within about 10 minutes). Overall, a great airport and attentive staff. Highly recommend you land here if going to the Twin Cities. Good fuel prices (if not the best) and friendly service.

Extremely well managed airport with reasonably priced 100LL.

Left my plane there for 5 days while I caught a commercial flight from MSP to PHX. Very friendly helpful staff. Very active GA airport. Easy to get into and out of although it was VFR both on arrival and departure. About a $30 cab ride each way to MSP. "All City" cabby was also helpful and friendly. I think it was still cheaper and certainly a lot less hassle than going directly to MSP. I would do this again.

Visited 12-5 to 12-6. Office was great. Wipaire fueled plane for me and kept in heated hangar overnight. Treated like a King Air but in an Archer. Departed next morning at 7:30. The daily morning coffee group at the airport was extremely friendly. I would recommend the airport to anyone. All in all a flawless visit.

I have flown into SGS and parked at the City/South St Paul FBO twice already in 2009. Both times, I have experienced wonderful service from the airport staff Glenn and Chris, including tug, heated hangar, and reasonably priced 100LL. If you are headed to the Minneapolis area, give KSGS a try.
