I have flown to many "$100 Hamburger destination", but let me be clear that nothing compares to Lambert's. Think twice before topping off your fuel tanks because you will get back to you plane with a few extra pounds than when you left. The atmosphere and service is unparalleled. This is a destination for the whole family. Remember to bring cash, because they don't take cards!

Lambert’s has such wonderful food and atmosphere. Plus they really spoil the pilots with a free shuttle and quick seating. The portions are huge; we left with a couple to go containers. Anytime you are near this area definitely stop and see for yourself.

Flew into SIK to eat at Lamberts. The best $100 meal out there. VIP service from pick-up to drop off. I can't wait to go back. They close at 9 so a later dinner is possible.

Flew my wife in, and we were picked up in less time than it took to freshen up at the FBO. The food was great and very abundant - I am a "big eater" (I.E. FAT) and hardly even made a visible dent in my plate. Expect to pay 10-20 per entree, with all you can eat southern food and a delightful atmosphere. The best "$100 hamburger" I have ever had. We chose to walk the 1.5 miles back to the airport to be ready to fly home.

Wow. Nice airport, prompt shuttle, and great food. Try the chicken.

Lamberts in Springfield, MO also offers the same back-door treatment. My wife and I rented a car at the airport, so I can't speak to whether they will pick up because it's quite some distance.

We flew in Monday for lunch. The FBO called the restaurant and a van arrived promptly. The restaurant was surprisingly empty on a Monday afternoon, but it was just after the holidays. It's nice to know there would have been no wait for us even if there had been a line. We had a fun and filling lunch across from a Blackhawk crew and rode back to the airport with a couple of gentlemen flying a civilian helicopter. As mentioned by others, the owner is an active pilot and you'll find a nice area of aviation art inside the front door of the restaurant.
