Charged $110 a night to hangar a single engine piston that was grounded for maintenance. Never again will I grace your establishment. Thanks for the $20/night discount that brought the rate down to only $90.Response from Ron Peters, Manager, Salem Aviation Fueling @ Salem Air Center Dear Mr. S. Smith. Thank you for your comments on your stay at Salem Aviation. I am sorry that your stay with us was unsatisfactory. I apologize that finding a hangar for you in your time of need, moving your plane across the apron, in and out of the hangar while providing a secure space on our ramp for your mechanic to work on your plane did not meet your expectations. We strive, at our FBO, to offer the best of service and exceed our customers needs. On your next visit I look forward to showing you the service and attention many have come to admire. Again, our sincerest apology for your experience at our FBO.

We have been coming here for years because of the great service and the low prices. Good fuel prices, excellent service, nearby restaurant. Also, they have a courtesy car, but can also arrange for a rental car at an excellent rate. It is worth stopping here and we will keep coming back!

My wife and I spent the weekend parked at Salem Air Center. The facility is spacious and clean, the self-serve avgas prices are competitive ($5.65/gallon), and rental cars are easily available through Hertz. Be sure to have a meal at the Flightline restaurant overlooking the GA ramp; we had a delicious dinner there, and they also have a full bar. Lots of great aviation memorabilia, model aircraft, and also an outdoor sundeck with a perfect view of the runways. We'll be back!

The personnel where extremely helpful and friendly. The facility was welcoming and clean. Upon reaching my home airport I discovered I had left my new sunglasses on the counter. When I called the person I spoke to was already planning to mail them to me. I hope to stop in again soon.

My airplane loves it here and I'm on side. I stop here every time I fly down to Calif. Excellent service, very helpful -- reminding me how the self-serve pumps work, booking a motel, loading and unloading baggage; and always with a smile. Best FBO I've been to.

Same as the other reviews ahead of mine. SALEM AVIATION FUELING was probably one of the best FBOs I had the pleasure to stop at. Jet-A Fuel was reasonably priced with volume discounts, services were provided with a smile on their face [regardless of how low-down and dirty they were (lav, lav, lav)] and you didn't even have to open your mouth... Both the facility manager as well as the line guys were "Johnny-on-the-Spot" They read your mind before you had time to articulate anything... I highly recommend this place even if you have to go out of your way to get there... It is a 10 star in my book....

Flew in with a 182 and was treated like I had arrived in a Gulfstream. First class service all around. They helped us get a hotel (Red Lion) at a great rate with free pickup and return. Nice pilot shop with lots of stuff available. Highly recommended.

Ron the FBO manager and line crew went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Attention to detail in every way imaginable from directions, crew car, early operations for a 5 am show, fueling, passenger catering and providing crew with a continental breakfast that was delicious! Thanks for making our stay most memorable!

Salem Air Center is one of the best FBO's I've been too. Ron meet us on the ramp with the golf cart gave us cold water, tied down our Centurion, loaded up our baggage and loaded it into the rental car, which he had ready to go for us. The guys on the ramp had fueled us up and had the O2 ready to go the next morning. I can't remember a FBO that beats that level of service. I look forward to returning to Salem Air.

Great service will bring rental car to ramp & help with baggage. Beware of tie down fees from the unmarked city ramp (north of FBO & in front of restaurant). Park on FBO ramp south near SS fuel to avoid $4/day charge with fueling.

I fly into Salem at least once a month. The fueling attendants have always been courteous, asked if they could do anything for us and treated my aircraft as if it was theirs.

I flew into KSLE on 6/21/11 with our Falcon 10. Salem Aviation Fueling provided excellent service. They really made us feel at home. The rental cars were brought out to the aircraft. The jet fuel price was reasonable. They also were able to arrange a great deal for our rooms at the Shilo Inn.

Great service. I parked in front of the restaurant and a Salem Aviation Fueling employee cheerfully walked all the way across the ramp to chock & ask about fuel.
