Very cool airport hotel. I parked right next to the hotel on the ramp, pressed a button to enter, and checked in. To get back to your airplane through the hotel ramp door use door code 1352* (or was it 1352#). I had a great view of my plane through my hotel room window. Removed my screen to see better. Excellent!

We had to divert to Santa Maria after Oceano was completely enveloped by thick coastal fog. Tower recommended I park next to the hotel for any services, and we ended up staying at the hotel since it was too late to go anywhere anyway. First off, the staff (and especially the two front desk receptionists Collins and Amber) was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We told Collins about our predicament and he gave us $30 off (from $134 to $104) right there on the spot! Everyone was helpful and extremely friendly even after we pestered them with a constant barrage of questions. Second, the quality of the hotel was very nice. The rooms were great, they had Internet and TV. However, I'd say the greatest thing about the rooms is that you have the most awesome view ever: the airport! From my room I could see where we parked and runway 30. Overall, I was immensely satisfied with my experience at this hotel and would not hesitate to recommend staying at the Radisson on KSMX!

Nice stop for a very good brunch. Ramp parking within 50 feet of the door. $22 a person for brunch.
