Great FBO. Excellent service. They have no ramp fee and are very gracious. We plan return visits to eat at the restaurants on the airport. This will be our choice for fuel and service at Santa Maria.

From Patricia Lynn on 30-Jun-2008
Space Coast is a great FBO. They are reliable, courteous, friendly, and responsive. We had the truck fuel our plane and it's just like the Full Service description in this ad, a very fulfilling experience, in a timely manner.

From Tovay Yavot on 30-Jun-2008
Can't imagine that last post was about Space Coast. I guess if you don't like free tie-down, complimentary water and cookies, available crew car and immediate service, don't go to Space Coast, because that's what you'll get. It's the only place I've flown to that has this level of service and attitude.

From Pierce Weir on 30-Jun-2008
On Sat June 28, 2008. We flew to Santa Maria for lunch. As we pulled in to tie down we were met by a man who gave us each a bottle of cold water and asked if he could help us tie down our airplane. We told him we were just going to eat lunch. He said he would take us to the restaurant in his truck or a golf cart. We opted for the golf cart. After lunch we walked into the FBO office to use their bathroom, which was very clean. We found out the man who assisted us was the owner of the FBO, Tim Johnston, to say the least we were impressed with the genuine treatment we were shown. We will return! Pierce Weir

As always, Space Coast was superb in meeting all of our group's aviation needs. Our Grumman formation group flew in again for a weekend's stay at SMX and was aptly hosted by Space Coast for all of our parking, fuel, training room needs. The periodic tri-tip BBQ they hold was excellent, as always, and the line staff very helpful, friendly and professional. Kudos to Melissa and her staff for the great work and service they provide.

From Mitch Pomer on 05-Nov-2007
Flew into KSMX on Oct 25, 07 for a 3-day training course with the Beechcraft PPP. I was met at the ramp, had my plane tied down, fuel up, and was greeted by a very friendly staff that attended to my every need. The staff at the Space Coast Flight Center treated everyone who attended the BPPP training program to an outstanding BBQ in their hangar at no charge. I watched them treat every customer the same whether you flew in a single engine or Private jet. Best FBO experience ever. Thanks!!

From Joseph McMurray on 31-Oct-2007
Absolutely wonderful!! Great Customer service - they went way above and beyond the norms to make me happy. - Of course I am going back!! This is FBO is the benchmark for others to follow.

From Dan Robertson on 30-Oct-2007
The Hertz rental car we called ahead for our weekend stay was brought to the plane as we shut down. Even with a Beechcraft PPP and Grumman formation clinic going on to keep things busy, we and our Mooney got first class treatment. Phones, briefing computer, clean restrooms and lounge. Tim Johnston greeted us as we prepared for departure and was sincerely interested in our well being. Space Coast definitely delivers a positive experience!

From Rich Dauler on 30-Oct-2007
What a great job Space Coast did for our BPPP clinic this past weekend. Friendly service and great staff. Had a maintenance problem and Space Coast got right on it. I was flying the next day. I will be back.

From Greg Holland on 29-Oct-2007
Had a terrific time in Santa Maria for the BPPP, which started when we arrived at Space Coast Flight Center. Were met with a follow me vehicle without contacting their radio, offered cold water and an offer to help with any luggage. Prompt refueling at a good price. Friendly staff. Treated like we had a private jet instead of a Bonanza. Highly recommend, and we'll be back.

From William Kelly on 28-Oct-2007
During our recent Grumman formation clinic Space Coast provided us with exclusive use of a classroom for the entire weekend, cold bottled water delivered to the airplanes, and a complimentary barbecue lunch. Overall, the epitome of great customer service. The fuel prices are reasonable too.

From Tom Henderson on 28-Oct-2007
The folks at Space Coast are the gold standard for service. Everybody I dealt with was friendly and helpful, from the line staff to the office folks -- and I'm just flying a single-engine piston flib. I would recommend Space Coast to anybody coming to Santa Maria.

From Phil Sih on 28-Oct-2007
Came here with about 70 or so pilots and aircraft for BPPP (Beechcraft training). Space Coast went all out. When you're going to a new airport and you have training on your mind, it's nice to have a friendly, professional, and very considerate ground crew taking care of business for you. They led us in, parked and tied down our airplanes, fueled us up, and treated us like real customers. I hope BPPP comes back to SMX again next year, as this was a most pleasant experience.

From Kevin Halliburton on 25-Sep-2007
The moment I arrived I was met at my plane with cold bottled water. That is indicative of the level of service they provide. Nice friendly people that cater to your needs and strive to exceed your expectations. Throw in fair fuel prices and cookies and you have a winner.

From Masen Yaffee on 11-Sep-2007
These guys really know the meaning of service. They offered us cold water bottles as soon as we exited the plane and quickly shuttled us over to restaurant. I highly recommend them.

If you ever need an FBO to make you feel "pampered", the ONLY place in So-Cal to offer such service is Space Coast Flight Center in Santa Maria. Whether you fly a single light aircraft or a multi-jet, the service offered is exceptional and very welcoming. The staff is courteous, polite and sensitive to your every need. Tim Johnston, the CEO is approachable and very helpful and surely inspires his staff to follow suit. To top it off, the cold bottled water and the delicious cookies and yours to enjoy!!

From David Magaw on 09-Sep-2007
Great service and welcome. Cold water offered both at arrival and departure. Rides offered to local restaurant, though we declined because we already had arrangements. Fresh cookies too to take with us on the homeward flight. Excellent service--can't say enough about it, and I fly a simple experimental aircraft.

From Ray MacClanahan on 02-Sep-2007
Just had the most enjoyable flat tire experience of my flying career, and on Labor Day Sunday no less. Two guys I had never met, Tim Johnston & Alex Moore of Space Coast Flight Center, towed my crippled Skylane off the taxiway and into their hangar, fixing my flat nose wheel tire with incredible service and for less money than if it had been routine scheduled maintenance at my home base. Their remarkable service combined with courtesy car and cold bottled water in the scorching heat made the whole affair uplifting. These guys went an unbelievable distance out of their way to help, passing up a well-earned surcharge for their holiday efforts just to make my day better. Anyone dreading the prospects of maintenance "on the road" should know that Space Coast is truly a friendly port.

From Betty Bucci on 30-Jul-2007
July 28, 2007 - My husband and I flew to Santa Maria for lunch. Tim Johnston, the President/CEO of Space Coast Flight Center met us at our airplane with a golf cart and shuttled us to the restaurant. When we returned from lunch not only was our airplane was fueled and ready to go, but they had fresh baked cookies (really good) and bottled water waiting for us. All of the staff at Space Coast is friendly and helpful. If you fly into SMX, be sure to stop a Space Coast Flight Center. We will be back.

From Bill & Ann Howard, Milton-Freewater on 28-Jul-2007
July 25, 2007 Topped up after our Radisson stay at the Self-Serve - easy enough. Try NOT to depart IFR - complicated instructions to end up flying a vector. Great place to stop!

From Lou Evans on 25-Jul-2007
Space Coast kindly hosted our Grumman formation-training clinic this past weekend, and we couldn't have had nicer, more dependable support. They gave us free use of their conference room, facilities, and even free BBQ on Saturday. Thanks Tim, to you and all your staff for a wonderful, easy stay.

From John Bunker on 23-Jul-2007
SCFC generously provided our formation group with facilities for a formation clinic in July 2007. They were open early even on Sunday. Friendly and accommodating, everything you want in an FBO.

From Jim Hall on 23-Jul-2007
Our group of Grumman’s used Space Coast as a weekend base for our formation-flying clinic. Their hospitality could not have been better. They provided a conference room, let us attend their customer appreciation barbeque gratis (great tri tip!), and gave us bottles of ice-cold water as needed and fresh baked cookies. Tim Johnston and his staff went out of their way to make our weekend of training and flying a great success. The line guys and admin staff were courteous, helpful and efficient.

From Wolfgang Polak on 22-Jul-2007
When we organized a formation-training clinic in Santa Maria the friendly folks at Space Coast Flight Center were most helpful and supportive. They assisted in our preparation, gave us exclusive use of their conference room for two days, and even invited our group of 8 to their company BBQ (great tri-tip). Thanks a lot. We'll be back.

From Tom Ridderbush on 25-Jun-2007
Stopped at Space Coast to pick up a card for a poker run. A beautiful woman with cold bottles of water greeted us at the airplane. The entire staff was the best I have seen yet. We will be back just to visit them. We have never had a welcome like that!

From Casey Hood on 21-May-2007
Flew an Angel Flight into SMX today and the self-serve pumps were down. Space Coast fueled the plane out of the truck at self-pump price of $3.99 and had a fast turn.

From Mike Busch on 19-May-2007
The self-serve pump works quite well and is presently the lowest-price 100LL anywhere in the area. As of May 18, 2007, the actual self-serve price for 100LL was $3.90/gallon rather than the $3.99/gallon.
