Was greeted by line crew and made to feel welcome. Fuel prices reasonable. CSR was friendly and keeps fresh supply of cookies. Apparently the line problems of the past have been resolved or at least steps taken to correct. Good place to stop.

We chose Bama Air for the name...Even though the fuel was more expensive than Dixie. The linesman parked us, chocked the tires and walked away without speaking. Once inside, the lady behind the desk seemed annoyed that I had walked in the door and reluctantly helped me. A different lady was at the desk when we got back. I stood in front of her while she ignored me for 5 minutes. When I finally got her attention, she too seemed annoyed at my existence and charged me a $20 ramp fee. NEVER AGAIN!

Quick stop to pick up passengers. Line guy unfriendly at best and uncooperative. Refused request to pull up aircraft and put a power cart on it. "I'll do it right before your passengers show up." Really? That’s not what went down. Passengers walk whole ramp to hot plane with no power cart. Only got the fuel order right after being corrected twice. I'd love to never go there again. Thanks!Response from Wayne DuBose, General Manager, Bama Air We have had complaints from our customers about our service and I must apologize for any problems you have encountered while visiting Bama Air. We pride ourselves on having a friendly, caring staff that is dedicated to do what is necessary to make your visit as pleasant as possible. It seems that we have had some employees that have not shared this dedication for customer service, this is not the type of personnel we want and you will not see them at Bama Air on your next visit. Thank you for your comments and remarks about our service this keeps us diligent in pursuite of excellent service. Should you have a problem of any kind please call me or my brother Danny so we can address it in a timely manner. Wayne Dubose GM

We had an unplanned overnight visit on a recent holiday weekend due to thunderstorms at our destination. The staff seemed very disinterested in us. They did speak when spoken to first, but most answers were either "I don't know", "I'm not from here", or a memorable hand gesture pointing to the computer room. I must point out though, that the line crew on our departure the next morning was very accommodating and professional.

I spent the night with Bama Air, I was concerned about the insensitivity of the negative review. What a wonderful experience. Yes the fuel is higher than at home, but the people were worth every penny. I have been flying around the south for 38 years and 5500 hrs; I have NEVER been to a more caring, homey FBO. Go visit Jim and I believe you will agree. From the unsolicited offer to hangar my plane, there was serious front coming through, to the fresh cookies. I could go on but suffice it to say, if you fly into KTCL and don't take this opportunity you will have missed something very special.

Used Bama last weekend for a stop over in Tuscaloosa for dinner. Good Crew Car and not terrible gas prices. All In all a good stop

I was very disappointed in management after I reported that his ramp crew had left my fuel cap off of my high wing plane Saturday night, 11/7/09. His reply was; they had fueled over 150 planes that day and that wasn't a big deal, I should do a preflight anyway. Well, it would be a big deal if I had taken off at night and all the fuel had been sucked out of that tank and I couldn't have restarted it in time to avoid a catastrophe.

We visited for the Alabama - North Texas game this past weekend. Very nice facility and excellent staff, who met my wife and I both at the airplane with umbrellas in the pouring rain. Thanks again!

Used Bama Air this past weekend to drop off and pick up a friend. Nice enough facility and people but the ramp fee was a little ridiculous. $15 for 2 minutes for a single? I understand having to keep the lights on but that’s steep! Overall a good experience.

Arrived just a little too late to get a rental car so the friendly people here offered us a ride to our hotel. Much appreciated!
