Stopped in for breakfast and fuel today. The line guy gave us the keys to the van and told us three places we could try. Fuel farm is CC ready and available 24 hours. Pics inside show the days when this base was a glider training place in the 40's.

Landed at Sturgis for quick turn around. Ate our sack lunch. FBO was nice and comfortable and all folks were very polite. A gentleman helped me with the fuel. The self service fuel was nice and easy to use. Digital readout on the amount pump was located on a pole and very helpful and easy to read. Nice stop for quick fuel.

Flew in with a King Air today around 1PM for fuel. Called unicom several times with no answer. Nobody marshalled me in. Had to pump JET A on my own at the self serve pump. Not so cool when you're dressed in your formal pilot uniform (shirt/tie/sweater). Ended up buying $1200 in fuel- paid at the pump. Only came in to wash my hands off- and there was no soap in the bathroom! Come on, guys!
