Flew in with a King Air today around 1PM for fuel. Called unicom several times with no answer. Nobody marshalled me in. Had to pump JET A on my own at the self serve pump. Not so cool when you're dressed in your formal pilot uniform (shirt/tie/sweater). Ended up buying $1200 in fuel- paid at the pump. Only came in to wash my hands off- and there was no soap in the bathroom! Come on, guys!

I took my long XC to Sturgis on 1-13-09 from KALN. I was doing my flight training part 61 and I wanted to get all my hours done before my checkride. Very nice and CLEAN FBO!! LOTS of ROOM!! They had a computer with Internet and the person behind the desk was very nice and helpful. I hope to be back someday!

Stopped here @ 10 July. Price as advertised. Even a wx computer inside and free popcorn inside.

Stopped for gas. Self-serve pump is easy to use and fuel reasonable. No one came out while there, although building was open and someone was in the office. Rwy 4 22 is closed.
