Lineman greeted plane to provide fuel if needed. Everyone I met at FBO was very friendly. Ate at Bebop’s. Good burger and fries. Thanks for letting me hang out.

Great stop for fuel and a burger. Just a short 5-10 minute stroll is a nice 50s style diner, Be-Bops. Warning: a large burger is three patties.

Nice airport to fly into, plenty of transient parking just north of the middle taxiway. Great food at Chavez Market across the street; order inside and give your receipt to the cook--she's the one making fresh tortillas outside by the picnic tables. The Bluebird Cafe has closed for good, a Mexican restaurant will take its place but has not yet opened.

Flew in on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. Had a great lunch at the Bluebird. The owner of Vichy hot springs, a fellow pilot, picked us up and we had an enjoyable stay. This is a great destination and we plan to return often. The airport staff was friendly and helpful.

Very friendly folks. Stopped in on 12/13/09 for lunch at the Bluebird Cafe, and we'd barely opened the aircraft door before a friendly lineman stopped by to see if we needed anything. Airport has a spacious and comfortable pilot's lounge, plus Enterprise rental cars on-site. Definitely a good stop for that $200 burger (across the street at Bluebird, although you can walk into town if you like -- about a 30 minute walk.)

Arrived a little after 1 pm to lunch at Bluebird Cafe. Cutting it close as they close at 2pm. Very friendly reception at field and cafe. Highly recommend as a lunch destination.
