Walked over from the airport. Got there right at closing, but they allowed us in (thank you). Great food and service. When we were done, they offered us a free piece of pie. One of those little places, somewhat of a throw back that are great to got to. Saw a mention of high prices, I did not think that, thought it was fair, but being from SoCal, I am use to high price food ... Regardless, I highly recommend.

Stopped by on Sunday 1/11/09 for lunch. The Bluebird definitely has some burgers you won't find at most burger joints -- wild boar, elk, bison, you name it. A little bit pricier than some places ($11 for each burger), but the fries are good and the service is friendly. It's literally right across the street from the airport. A good $200 hamburger stop.

Great meal at the Bluebird. Usually closed at 2 - I showed up at almost 3 on Saturday and they were open. Had the Ostrich burger I have been seeking for a while now. Friendly staff and a great milkshake.

Great restaurant highly recommended! They have quite a selection of exotic meat, and their breakfast menu is superb! It's just across the street from the terminal. Very helpful and friendly staff.

What a great selection of burgers! Everything from Ostrich, Wild Boar and Buffalo to full half-pound juicy Mendocino Beef. Not to mention the wonderful pies and éclairs for desert. Nice friendly wait staff, great service and a new weight and balance calculation for the way home. Highly recommended.

I flew to Ukiah today and tried the Bluebird Cafe for breakfast. Breakfast menu said it was available until noon but you might call ahead to verify. The restaurant is a *very* quick walk from the airport office. I had the 'big breakfast' which was excellent: A big pancake, two eggs, two thick link sausages, and two nice strips of bacon - plus a thick slice of ham! It was very good food and very filling. A basket of pastries was complimentary while I waited for my order - which was filled very quickly. This was an excellent experience, and I'll surely be back to the Bluebird again...

Very impressed with this Restaurant. We had a great Sunday Brunch meal. Bacon and Eggs were priced the same as Denny's, yet the plate was heaped full of food and they also had a complimentary basket of Pastry at the table. The bacon was thick slab bacon and really good! The Wife had a Buffalo Ribeye Steak and Eggs. Was fantastic and we could barely walk back to the Airport as we were so stuffed.

Stopped in with the wife and kids. Very easy walk from the midfield area. Food was reasonably priced, service was good, and food was okay.

I stopped in with a friend and was disappointed that breakfast wasn't available at 11:00 AM. Only one other table was occupied, so I was surprised there was no accommodation. We ordered lunch and had a great lunch instead. Be prepared to pay for quality food.
