Aero Club requires no membership fees, and still gives you club rates on aircraft. With the ever-expanding fleet of great airplanes, I think this is the only place to rent in the San Fernando area. Plus there are so many instructors to choose from; finding one you like is a non-issue. I have spent many hours in the company of Steve (the head cheese), and he has to be the most helpful, pleasant guy I know. The first day I walked in, they had just finished cooking lunch. As a stranger off the street, he offered me lunch to just sit and talk airplanes. Just because it's cheap doesn’t mean they skimp on quality either. If something’s wrong, it gets fixed right away. I remember when the RG had a bad voltage regulator. Within about 30 minutes, it was fixed, and I was on my way. The place has a family atmosphere to it. I love it there. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

Great place to learn how to fly or rent aircraft from. Cheapest aircraft rental rates at KVNY! Steve is very nice and always tries to make you comfortable.

This is the place to go! Very friendly staff, professional management and deeply discounted rental fees. One hour on a C172 for less than $80 WET!
