Very poor and indifferent service. When I arrived at the FBO I placed a fuel order and told the women at the front desk that I would call with my departure time 3 days later. On my day of departure I called 90 minutes before arriving at the FBO to have my plane ready to go. When I arrived at the airport my plane was not fueled, and was parked in a way that it could not be taxied. I called the manager and left a message for him to call me to discuss. He has not returned my call. There are better options at KVNY.

The Worst experience ever: I was training in my NEW CJ3 with a 40 year check ride pilot doing 25 hours of cross country training. Stopped in to Castle & Cook for a quick fuel turn. Very confusing ramp. We waited for a line guy to eventually appear who directed me to a dead end spot on their ramp. Upon my wife opening the door to our cabin; a very hostile line man began yelling at my passenger wife chastising her that we did not call ahead and notify them that we were coming and that he was reporting us for unsafely parking our plane in the spot that his line guy directed us to park. Our career 40-year pilot asked the lineman to step away from my passenger wife and speak with him inside. He refused and continued to berate her and then began yelling at me upon my exiting of our plane. It was the most unprofessional experience in our 12 years of flying. Their GM was called who promised to call me on the following Monday. I never received a call. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FBO.

Excellent service, even for a 172. After initial confusion regarding where to park (note: the building you see when you vacate 16R isn't the one where they expect you!), I was parked and ready to go in a few minutes. Very reasonable ramp fees for a SEP, although the gallons required to waive it (20 gallons, 30USD ramp fee) is high given the highly inflated fuel prices in VNY. All in all, I will be back. Much more 172-friendly than Signature, who didn't even bother to park me.

Stopped here again on 6/20/16 Received the same great service that I did the last time here. Car was brought out to my Mooney and everyone is very pleasant to deal with. Sure the fuel is a little costly but the convenience is worth it and the service is tops SE airplanes are fine with C&C.

I was at C&C again 1/10/2016 and he service was wonderful I was there in a Cessna 172 this time which took almost no fuel, but it was all done with a smile and great attitude including the crew car. Among the very heavy private metal again!

Nice folks, but avgas prices are outrageous and they charged me $50 for a 10 minute passenger drop off. I had the option to get that waived if I bought 50 gallons of fuel at $7.58 a gallon. I pay $3.80 near my home field right now, so either I eat $200 in excess fuel charges or pay $50 to walk through their lobby and park on the ramp for 10 minutes. Sadly, Pentastar is gone and these guys just want to cater to the jet crowd. VNY used to be a great GA airport for the piston guys... no longer ;(

We had great experience at Castle & Cooke Aviation where our 182 was very welcomed. Fees were waived with fuel purchased, car waiting plane side. Looks like on a third try we have finally found a place to go to at KVNY.
