Stopover at KVNY for fuel. Found Pentastar to be cheapest on the field. Linesmen treated our '79 turbo 310R like the Gulfstreams and Phenoms we parked next to. Office was luxurious, staff was kind and professional. Quick turn, no complaints. Will choose Pentastar again.

I fly to the San Fernando Valley for business several times a year and always use Pentastar. I did it again last week and was not disappointed. Top notch in every respect. I will return.

Traveled to LA for a day trip and arranged for a rental car and ramp service. We radioed in 10 minutes out and when we pulled up to the ramp our car was waiting and all that was needed was a signature on the rental contract and we were on our way. Upon return our plane had full tanks (all 32 gallons worth) and we returned the keys, paid for the fuel service and were on our way home. Very courteous staff and they were most helpful. Would definitely use this facility again.

We definitely made the right choice coming in here, after reading all the great reviews. Line service was excellent, staff and facilities great - nice fuel discount as "first timers" to their facility. We will be back on our next trip into the Valley.

Nice facilities and nice people. Recently I had to leave my aircraft for four days due to a mechanical problem. Pentastar let me leave the aircraft without charge, and gave me a ride to KBUR for a commercial flight home.

We could have used more help parking, but once there, our rental showed up as we got out. Fuel was decently priced though, and it was a very nice, clean facility with complimentary beverages. Desk girls were very helpful with directions to the In-N-Out and Hollywood Blvd. Treated our Seminole and us just like the G4 that we parked next too.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of visiting the Los Angeles area and parked my old R182 at Pentastar. When we pulled up, they had our rental car ready, provided first class service just like I watched them do to passenger/crew of a jet. The ladies that worked at the desk along with the line crew were some of the best I have experienced. With no parking or handling fees, you can't do any better than that. I will use them again when I am back in Van Nuys.

Really nice facilities. Very clean - obvious that someone pays attention. I'm not a bathroom guy, but I was impressed with it. Popped the Mooney in for the day, was received on the ramp, no fees. Will use again!

We came in our C182 on Friday and had to extend the stay in Van Nuys to four days due to icing and personal schedules. The folks at Pentastar were great – very accommodating and, as promised, we paid nothing for overnight and handling. We bought some fuel, but nobody pushed for it. Mind you, Pentastar does not have oxygen available for refill. Great people, great location right at the entry to 16R, overall fantastic experience.

The best FBO that I have ever been to, everyone is great and friendly, especially Gabby & Veronica (CRS's) they are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this FBO they deserve 10 star, 5 isn't enough. Can't wait to visit Pentastar again soon. Thanks for all your help at Pentastar and keep up the great work guys

Went to Van Nuys a few weeks ago and was really surprised at the facilities and friendliness of the Pentastar staff. Everything about their operation was first rate. It was a little hard finding my way back after my meeting in LA but the Pentastar staff made the entire trip a breeze. Subsequently, I have decided to land in Van Nuys on a number of occasions (versus much closer Santa Monica) due to the service at Pentastar.

Excellent service, beautiful facility. They brought my rental car out to aircraft for easy loading, was leaving inside of 15 minutes from shutting down. I left my cell phone in the rental car, and they shipped it out to me the next day. Couldn't ask for nicer people or better service.

Stopped for a quick overnight trip to Los Angeles. Excellent handling. Veronica and Amber (CSRs) at the desk were organized with the rental car pickup/dropoff. No charge for parking. I will use Pentastar again on the next trip.

I wish there were a rating above excellent!! I'd use it. I've been to Pentastar several times and sort of can't believe how competent and nice everyone is. The prices and service cannot be beat. An FBO like this makes me want to go to VNY instead of BUR where I often land. I fly a Malibu Mirage, so nothing real fancy or thirsty, but it doesn't seem to matter to them, and they've treated my passengers like royalty.

Add me to the long list of delighted customers. I needed to deliver a family member to a location very close to the airport and having never been to KVNY, I looked at the AirNav comments and found Pentastar had a long list of positive comments - for good reason. Taxied up unannounced into Pentastar in my lowly Skylane and had very competent and pleasant line personnel direct me to front-row parking. I asked them to fuel the tanks but leave space for expansion, they did exactly that. Loaned me a crew car at no cost to make the run into town (saving cab/rental car fees, and time). When I returned, the lovely counter ladies invited me to stay and relax as long as I wanted (they have a huge comfortable lounge with a big screen), refreshments. I took them up on it long enough to chat with some other guys and get tips about the best way to depart to the south through the busy LAX Class B. All this and all I paid for was 25 gallons of 100LL. You would have thought I brought a G4 in there.

Excellent service at Pentastar! Called up once we landed and they sent the linemen out and had us park close to their building. Had the plane topped off with 100LL and we were also given a free ride to and from the 94th Restaurant on the other side of the field since none of us drive (offered the company car as well). Nice atmosphere inside the FBO in general as well as a nice pilot brief area. Overall I was very impressed with the service and the professional courtesy of all their members. They offer AVTRIP points as well, definitely coming back.

Now I know why so many pilots below recommend Pentastar. Outstanding reception and total concern for my convenience. They even asked the people picking us up if they wanted to drive onto the ramp so we wouldn't have to walk! We were parked about 100 feet from the FBO entrance. A great experience.

Left my plane there for a week while I made an international flight. They not only did not charge me for parking (of course I bought all the fuel I could hold, not a bad price either), they drove me to the bus stop for the Flyaway to LAX and found someone to wash the plane while I was gone (nice wash job Blue Sky Aviation). What a great FBO, I WILL be back.

My first trip to VNY and this FBO is awesome. They have it all: attentive line people, great front desk staff, pilot lounge, and FREE PARKING (for the plane). Their fuel is competitive with the other local FBO's on the field (the city/county/state have lots of taxes on top). I see no reason to go anywhere else while I'm in LA.

We have based our Lear 45 at Pentastar for four three and a half years. Of all the FBO's I've based at, at VNY they're among the best. Line service and office personnel treat us great. They're very professional. I would be very disappointed if I had to base elsewhere on the field.

This FBO provides pure VIP treatment. I visit them 2x per month in a Bonanza and they are happy to arrange rental car, fuel, or anything else you might need. Beautiful lounge with WIFI and the ramp guys are fantastic. No parking fees make you feel welcome at VNY.

I have a Beech Debonair, Pentastar always treats us great - prompt service, no overnight fee, drinks for the flight, beautiful lounge for the kids to hang out during preflight. The ramp is mostly business jets, no problem helping us little guys anytime. The only thing is that you can't park yourself - the positive is that they seem to have very well trained guys and they do a good job of moving around the planes without hurting them. When at VNY, this is the place. There's nothing better.

Excellent service at Pentastar Aviation when I arrived at Van Nuys from IL in my Saratoga. Becky got the hangar set-up and even a great deal on a ride to the hotel in a limo. I will be back!!

Stopped in there last week to pick up a passenger. Very friendly on the phone and the lineman were professional and efficient. On the return they brought the passenger's personal car out of the hangar and to the plane. Top-shelf service. Not a glitzy building, but very well decorated. My passenger and I preferred it to the big cold jet centers. Coolest FBO on the field.

In a nutshell, "WOW!" Great prices, outstanding service (especially Becky), professional and helpful line service, clean and modern facilities, and an obvious desire to be the best. Overall, this FBO is on par with the best of the best FBO's in the world. We look forward to our next visit!

I've used other FBOs at VNY and decided to try something new this trip. Taxiing up to Pentastar, it doesn't look like much from the outside. However, the facilities inside are very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. Line staff is very good and service is top notch. I will be back.

It's so nice to finally find an FBO on the field that actually LIKES small planes. I was there for four nights in an old, dirty Archer and was treated like a king. Rental car right up to the plane, no parking fees for four nights, friendly service inside. I know where I'm going next time!

Flying regularly to VNY for the past 6 months only going to Pentastar, excellent service, professional and helpful staff, always ready to help, top of the line, clean facility, Zero parking, Ramp, overnight fee, and cheapest fuel on the field, I recommend this facility to everyone from a Cessna 150 to G5 or Legacy.

My wife and I flew our C182 into VNY on Easter weekend and decided to use Pentastar due to its favorable reviews. We had called ahead to arrange a rental car (Enterprise) and it was waiting on the ramp for us as we pulled up. Usual paperwork inside and we were off. The staff is very professional and friendly. Setting things up with them on the phone and via email was fast and efficient. They were open on Easter Sunday as well making our evening departure easy. All in all a great experience. One negative though, they misfueled my aircraft. I had asked for it to be filled to the bottom of the tabs and they topped it off to the point it was overflowing when I removed the cap to inspect the fuel. Fortunately I had plenty of weight to spare.

Excellent. Excellent. And excellent. I've been flying into VNY for 15 years. I recently left Raytheon when they sold to Signature and raised the ramp fee on my 310 from $15 to $50. At Pentastar, they offer a large, clean, full service facility. Their staff is wonderful, and they charge a whopping $0 ramp fee and $0 overnight. That's right, $0. They treat the big guys like rock stars and the little guys like the big guys. Their fuel is very reasonable -- with this service, I want to buy their fuel whenever my weight allows!
