I flew in to Jacksonville on Thursday Aug. 14 2008. My son and I were experiencing; trip ending, engine troubles. We set our aircraft down at Jacksonville Jetport, where we were promptly met by two line service technicians by the name of Steve and Chris. They chocked our aircraft and immediately began a check of our needs. I was a bit frazzled as to how the last leg of our trip was going to unfold. The guys invited us inside where we were offered bottled waters and a comfortable place to sit. I let the engines cool down and we found out that the oil cap, port-side was loose and had robbed us of some much needed oil. Not only did Steve and Chris help to replenish the oil, they also cleaned the side of the aircraft without a second thought. This is the type of hard work and excellent customer service that all FBO's should have. Thanks to Steve and Chris and the Jacksonville Jetport crew, we will be back. Not to mention the HUGE runways! You guys were great.

Visited J'ville over the weekend and had a great experience with the folks at Air-1. They were very helpful and run a great operation. Lowest cost fuel on the field, and easy to get to (just off taxiway Bravo-2). Highly recommend. Plus, Cecil Field is a pretty cool former Navy base... C'mon, how many times have you landed at a field with a 12, 500' runway???

A great experience. I had to put down at Cecil Field due to deteriorating weather and was totally unfamiliar with the FBOs there (there are 2). I wound up at Air-1 and I think I lucked out. Linemen met us at our 172 and asked if we had a place to stay. Finding we didn't, they called and secured a local hotel room for us while we unpacked the plane. They took us to the hotel and picked us up promptly at the time we requested the next morning. They charged us nothing for tie-down or transportation, only our fuel. The staff at Air-1 seem to strive to exceed the expectations of their GA customers.

I arrived at Cecil for a fuel stop and was promptly greeted by a friendly lineman. Tim provided the best customer service experience I've seen. I had to wait for some weather to pass and Tim chose to stay and wait with me after closing to make sure I would make it out safely. Friendly FBO and tower...Consider this place on your next fuel stop.

We just spent a long weekend in Jax, and the service at Air-1 was excellent. Chuck and the guys went out of their way to make our crew feel at home and assisted with hotel and car reservations. The fuel was the cheapest around, the airport facilities are great, and I highly recommend the guys at Air-1. They will be expanding with a new FBO and hangar facilities soon. A special thanks to Tim who stayed late for us on Sunday!

I was back again on my monthly stop in Jax (Cecil) and again AIR-1 took care of everything. On my last comment I mentioned the price on the fuel but after getting the great service from the FBO, the tower and ground the extra few bucks spent on fuel is worth it! Did I mention the service? Can not say enough about the guys at AIR-1 and airport operations. I have two more monthly trips left to Jax/ Cecil and AIR-1 is the place I trust to stop and leave my plane with!

Air-1, Cecil field Tower and Ground are the reason why I would stop again! This is a quiet place, large runway airport with great people and great service. They all take care of you. My rental from Enterprise was at Air-1 waiting for me, no tie down charge with fuel, WSI weather service and a comfortable place to wait out any thunderstorms. The only request I would make is lower the fuel price. Compared to Herlong (a few miles east) it is .50 higher. But still enjoyed my stay, please keep up the great service to all at Air-1 and Cecil.
Response from Chuck Lawson, Operations Manager, Air-1 FBO, LLC Mr Georgeadis, Thank you very much for your feedback on Air-1. We strive to provide personalized, responsive service that will ensure your experience with Air-1 is second to none. As for the fuel prices, it is difficult to compete with Herlong due to the fact that the FBO belongs to the Jacksonville Aviation Authority and they are not subject to lease or flowage fees. We look forward to seeing you again.

Arrived yesterday in a Saratoga with a full load plus 2 dogs and was promptly greeted by the crew at Air 1. They are true professionals and helped with baggage, promptly fueled the plane at the best price in the JAX area and we were on our way. The controllers were very helpful and it was neat to see a 747 do "touch and goes" on the 12,000' runways. Will definitely be back when passing through the area.

If you want to be ignored and don't want to be treated like you came in the Gulfstream and left alone then Air One may not be for you. The whole gang here are always asking questions like do you want the van, can I get you anything can I recommend a restaurant. Always trying to make me happy. How can I justify a raise if everything is easy with long runways cheerful controllers highly qualified ground techs, internet, donuts, cookies, good fuel prices. How can I look good if I don't have FBO problems to solve? Well if you're the kind of pilot who needs to have excellent service and smiling personnel then you have a home here. See Ya on the beach.

Air 1 recently hosted a National Intercollegiate Flying Association flight competition for a week on their ramp. Chuck Lawson and his well trained and highly motivated crew were outstanding in their support of 5 Alabama and Florida college flight teams. I flew my company's airplane in and was treated like an old friend. While there, I observed their daily support of transient airplanes and everybody received the same courteous and professional service. While other operations may claim to be too busy to help, the Air 1 team made it all look easy, and they had fun doing their work. It's a great place to get quality support at a fair price.
