I did my second solo cross-country flight to this airport yesterday. The air traffic controllers were very friendly and were just awesome! The new terminal was just beautiful! Also there is plenty of ramp space. Runway 22L has a slight up-slope which makes the landings very fun! This airport is a nice little place that I am ready to fly to again!

Flew in a few months back for a unique "photo op" at the airport. Manager David, Hink, and the rest of the crew in addition to the Air Guard air traffic controllers, were all 110% helpful in every way! The airport is great, and the gorgeous new terminal under construction is a real hoss! Looking forward to visiting again, always a pleasure.

Stopped in VUJ on our way back from New Orleans. Two large low fronts were working their way up the east coast and the Charlotte area was about as far north I could get to avoid the yellow and red spots on XM weather. Stayed overnight. Very good service from Bob...Found a hotel and a place to eat. Was provided a loaner car since we arrived so late in the day...I recommend this stop. Departed the next morning after filling the tanks and headed to Virginia. They have a new FBO building under construction. Will be real nice when complete. I will be back.

Nice people. Great fuel price. Self fueler is a bit difficult to maneuver airplane around, being in the corner. Newly paved, but not quite level (a problem with long thin wing tanks, like a Malibu). Not a deal breaker, will stop again. Courtesy car was clean and operating well. 4 nearby restaurnts. A winner.

Great little airport to stop in for affordable fuel. Quick service in a C-172 and if you like BBQ, I would suggest Log Cabin just down the road!
