I am a professional pilot and my wife and I flew into the area for some business. Noland-Decoto Flying Service, Inc. Must rank at the top of my list of FBO's. They are currently renovating their building, which will have one of the largest wine collections in the US. When we arrived, they took us around in one of the limos, they have two limos and will be happy to take you around to all of the vineyards. They did this for my wife and I, and they knew exactly which places to take us to, they stayed after hours, and actually introduced us to a few of the vineyard owners who took the time to sign all of the bottles of wine we purchased, very cool. Wow, what a stay, at the end of the day, there are plenty of FBO's out there that will do a good job of servicing your aircraft, but few that will really take care of you, Noland-Decoto is one of them. My wife and I are actually talking about flying all the way across the U.S. again just to visit this FBO and the friendly people of Yakima!

I flew into Yakima to pickup a passenger. Everybody I dealt with at Noland-Decoto was friendly and helpful. I have flown in Yakima numerous times in the past and have consistently received good service from N-D and had become used to the old rundown facility, but this time was different. Major renovations going on and I can't wait to see how it turns out. Thanks guys! See you in a few months.

Scheduling airplanes here is a hassle, and secretary on the phone is sometimes not in a very good mood. Keeping airplanes overnight is more trouble then it’s probably worth, but not impossible. Checkout is pretty quick and easy, and CFI's are good and professional. Rental rates are ok. No Heater in the Duchess, so wear your thermal underwear!!!

Noland is back alive. Spoke with the general manager today who was very helpful, cleared the snow from in front of my hangar within minutes and offered his 24-hour cell phone number for any concerns or questions. Long live the new Noland-Decoto!

Fuel is expensive here, but it is at ALL the FBOs. Noland-Decoto came through with a full time hangar for me when the 'other' FBO lead me on and didn't come through. FBO isn't very pretty, but they are working on it and the people (line, secretary, etc) are nice, responsive and very pleasant. I'm happy to be hangared here (well, $4 fuel would be great, but nothing is perfect)

Really nice people, fast and friendly service. They had my rental car there and waiting with hot coffee. I went their with our company jet and not only did they have Jet A, but it was at a great price for the area. The FBO is under construction, but it looks like the remodel work should look great soon. Will definitely return to Noland-Decoto.

Just talked with them and they have been out of Jet A for "a couple of weeks" and are "not sure when they will get a load". Never been to the other FBO, but I sure won't go to an FBO that is out of fuel and doesn't seem real interested in getting more.

Was a most pleasant stay while visiting Yakima. Just the right kind of service, laid-back, not grabbing your bag before you cover the pitot tube. Eager to help you in any way they can. No hassle and a good Jet-A price. No parking fee and as mentioned the tower is a pleasure.
