Diverted into ZZV for weather. First, Zanesville Aviation is super -- drove us down to Denny's for lunch, picked us up and brought us back to the airport, and then when we gave up, drove us to the Best Western for the night. Second, the Denny's in ZZV (1.25 miles from the FBO) is a really neat retro 1950's diner decor -- doesn't look like Denny's at all except for the logos. The weird thing is the Music was all 70's, mostly disco -- go figure. My mind has trouble grokking KC and the Sunshine band while sitting in a red/white vinyl booth and looking at a picture of a '56 Chevy convertible. Maybe worth a fly-in for lunch.

I can only echo the comments of others about how nice this airport is. The almost new terminal / FBO building is professionally decorated like a high dollar custom home. Fireplace, flat panel TV, nice furniture. Very comfortable and all the amenities. I'd stop here again just to relax on the lovely leather sofas. Be sure to take note of all the aviation-themed furnishings -- some really NICE stuff! A great place to make a fuel stop.

Made a fuel stop here recently. Got on the Unicom and told me where to park for fuel. That in and of itself is a plus these days. Then gave me a lift to and from the diner for lunch. The sign on the door says it all. No ramp fees, landing fees, handling fees, etc. But...All the service.

Stopped as a planned fuel stop on way to Indianapolis. Landed just in time to get refueled before a thunderstorm was headed at the airport. They placed my Cherokee in a hangar at no charge. Beautiful facility - nice friendly staff - will definitely return.

What a great FBO! Competitive fuel prices. No landing or ramp fee. A facility that is beautiful! Great friendly staff, and two long runways with an ILS. What else can a pilot ask for?

Stopped here on our way back from OSH on 27 July 2006. Very nice place. Quick full serve fill up. New building with one of the nicest crew lounges I have seen. We will be sure to come back.

On our way from the Chicago area to Cape Hatteras and stopped to get fuel and update on the WX. New FBO building is nice. They had just moved in so not everything was up and running, like no phone in pilot briefing but they let me use the one behind the desk. Very accommodating and pleasant. Fuel was not cheap at $4.20/gal and there where no vending machines to grab a soda yet. We did not stay long as T-storms where forming and we wanted to get out before they trapped us for the night.

Flew in on our way back to New Jersey for some fuel. They filled us up in the freezing cold and then put the plane in their hangar while they drove us down to the Denny's for dinner. When we were done eating, we called them up and they came and picked us up again for no extra charge. Thanks, guys!

Stopped in on 7/30/05. Service was fine. Nice terminal building. Couldn't get a ride into town though, but the (only) person on duty did offer to drive me to the local Denny's. Would be nice if the place had a courtesy car. Overall though it's a nice airport.

Great service. Arrived late after the fuel crew had gone, but they came back out, fueled us up and asked if they could do more. Turned out that the weather at our destination was bad, so they gave us a ride to the hotel. Wonderful folks!
