Flew into ZVV on the way to OSH on a Saturday morning. When we arrived we noticed the sign saying the FBO did not open until 10am! However within 5 minutes the FBO owner’s daughter (Sorry I forgot the name) arrived, opened the FBO and happily brought out the fuel truck. Great FBO and great service. We'll be back, Thanks!

All of the comments below are echoed here. I was enroute from NC to MI. ZZV was my scheduled fuel stop that became RON due to weather. Paul was working alone and did not pick up on UNICOM calls, but was prompt in getting me fueled, trying to arrange a rental car (not available late on a Saturday), helping me tie down and shuttling me to the Best Western. Very reasonable fuel price for the excellent service. Kudos to Paul. A highly recommended stop!

Had a great stop here on the way to OSH. I loved the sign out front -- they proudly advertise that they DON'T charge fees. :) Prompt, courteous service in a beautiful facility. We'll be back.

Very nice and well appointed FBO. Nobody was home when I called on UNICOM, but just as soon as I stepped inside and found the airport radio, guys appeared and fueled my C-172 promptly.

I have to echo the comments above as well, the FBO is decked out, and the interior decorators have been there for sure. The flight planning room worked out well and was also nicely appointed, the airport is nice, runway looks new. The ramp was being cleaned by the town street sweeper when we visited. The staff got right on our fueling and made it a quick stop on our way from Manassas VA, to Kokomo IN.

Very comfortable facility and our 100LL order was filled very quickly. The weather briefing computer was so unbelievably slow that I decided to investigate with the System control panel. It turned out that the poor machine is trying to run Windows XP with 256 MB of RAM. Someone bring these folks one of your old RAM DIMMs! (Most people would say that the minimum RAM required for a simple WinXP machine is 1 GB (costs about $20), given how much browsers consume when showing modern Web pages. The machine at KZZV has to go to the hard drive, which is 300, 000 times slower than RAM, to perform tasks that a normal computer can do instantly.) Anyway, until these guys get a $20 DIMM or a $200 new computer you'll probably have better luck calling Flight Service on the phone for a briefing.

Landed at ZZV on July 27 in a Cessna 172 with two passengers. I called ahead and made arrangements for a Hertz car, which was at the FBO as promised with no zero problems. We returned the car and had a slight delay for refueling, but the FBO staff was apologetic and got us underway as quickly as they could, even though we only purchased 20 gallons! All in all, we were treated as though we came there regularly in a G and purchased hundreds of gallons of fuel. One of the nicest terminal facilities I've ever been in, too. I look forward to returning.
