We did a quick fuel stop at Bakersfield on March 29, 2011. Self serve easy to reach and easy to use. We had to use the restrooms and got engaged in a nice conversation with the people at Kern. We had the feeling to be at home! We'll be back! PS: the peanut brittle was delicious!

One of the friendliest airports we've been to. The right brake failed on our Christen Eagle and Hollie fixed it for us in about an hour.... Good mechanic! Dave found us a ride to a hotel as the sun was setting and we postponed the rest of our journey till morning.

KCS took extraordinary care of my aircraft and I. When my engine developed a problem, they took the plane into their own hangar to protect it from impending severe weather. Additionally, they assisted in troubleshooting and repairing my bird. This FBO is first rate and will be my first choice to stop at whenever I am in their vicinity in the future.

Stopped in briefly for business and were treated like kings by Kern Charter. Dave Donahue, Cassandra, and Linda went out of their way to assist us and make our brief stay enjoyable and productive. Apart from the inexpensive fuel (which is reason enough) to opt for Muni vs. Meadows, Kern Charter is the best!

Stopped Wednesday on a business trip and were pleasantly surprised by the staff at Kern Charter Services. Cassandra and Linda greeted us with ice water after our flight into the 105-degree temps in Bakersfield. David was helpful with transportation and also recommended Rocket Shop Cafe, owned by Jon Harmon - got to meet Jon and talk airplanes too. The fuel prices made me wish I could have waited to fill up since they were $.30/gal cheaper than what I had paid an hour and a half earlier. L45 is at the top of my list of waypoints on trips to So Cal.
