We stopped at Sidney en route to New Hampshire on 10/02/08. Beautiful little airport. The leaves had just begun to change when we were there. Although the airport doesn't have a courtesy car, one of the locals (Charlie) lent us his truck so we could get a bite to eat at the highly recommended Trackside Restaurant. The place was packed the food was good.

Sidney is a great airport, always-friendly people and will help you with any problem, they have great services and I can’t think of anything bad.. Maybe the lack of helicopters.. Oh well heh. They do have a nice vietnam/ww2 era jeep on the apron; it’s very nice to see. Happy flying

Great little airport in the hills of New York had to fly a close approach. Greeted at the ramp, cheap fuel rates and computer to use.

I flew in on 8/30/06 to look at a car. The car was a disappointment, but the airport was-not. Great little airport. Tucked in the beautiful hills of New York in a valley created by the upper Susquehanna River. The people at the FBO could not have been nicer and should be very proud of what they have. I wished I had more time to see the area. Soda's at the FBO were $0.50, 100 LL $4.20. I got to come back. Ditto – Ditto "This is what an airport should be like.

Great little airport nestled in the beautiful hills of New York. Great place to visit and great service. In fact, the fella at the FBO loaned us his personal truck to drive to a nearby restaurant after we looked at a plane for sale on the field. This is what an airport should be like!
