Flew in December 23, was kindly allowed to use the Blazer for local travel. Leaving 12/25 I over primed the 206, ran the battery down. Toby was there plugging in his beauty and spent alot of time helping. But due to the 12v vs 28v issue, had to call Kevin who was in the middle of his Christmas meal. He came out, hooked up 28v charger waited around and coached me through starting. I learned alot and found how amazing Nervino and Beckwourth are to aviation. Thank you.
Stopped by for a picnic lunch. The pilot's lounge was open (what a nice surprise) and was comfortably furnished with some couches, chairs, and vintage airplane magazines. It's nice to see that Nervino airport trusts transient pilots enough to let them take a well-deserved break in the lounge on a Sunday. The runway, taxiway, and tiedown areas are in good condition. We didn't get fuel, so can't vouch for the condition of the fuel pumps.
