As of October 2012, Colville has a new FBO facility on the NE side with self-serve pumps, parking space, and a passenger lounge.

We got fuel okay, but the fueling company does not have a ramp. You must park on some gravel and call the fueler. All the paved ramp is leased to the airlines and other private oil companies and you cannot use their ramps. Food was great at the Prudhoe Bay Hotel mess hall. After lunch, we turned around and headed back to Fairbanks as we had only planned a day trip anyway. There were very few mosquitoes but it is an interesting place with all the machinery and such and seeing the Arctic Ocean.
