Rented a glass 172 with a commercial pilot along for a sightseeing flight to Vieques. Very friendly staff, excellent service. Rode with William and his local expertise was most helpful for someone (me) who has never flown in the Caribbean. $220/hr was more than I pay locally for a 172 with pilot, but well worth the money!

No dazzle but fine service with easy access to the plane on ramp and close by auto parking. Bought a reasonable amount of avgas for my 421. No fees.

The service from IGFS is great. The facilities are probably better than most flight schools in the Caribbean and probably some in the U.S. Mainland. They have an air-conditioned classroom area and also sell the Bose headsets, which are convenient since there are nowhere else you, can buy Bose headsets in the island that I am aware of. The aircraft fleet is good, your typical training aircraft fleet of Cessna 172s and 152s but the maintenance staff does a good job of keeping them airworthy. They recently purchased a G1000 c172, which I have not had the opportunity of flying. One thing to note though is that the rental prices are pretty high... Almost $180 an hour for a Cessna 172. If you own a jet maybe you might want to look for an FBO with a hangar but if you have a light aircraft, IGFS is superb.
