I flew in to W38 on Thursday 12/29/11 and found several officials present including the Lifeteam Air Evac crew. I needed a place for my plane and was given a spot in the big hangar next to a beautiful Stearman based there. Jessica is a wonderful young lady and absolutely professional manager. The airport is first class and the facilities are immaculate. This is one of the best visiting pilot experiences I have had.

Highly recommended. I flew two passengers up in a Cirrus SR20. Their final destination was the Federal Prison at Pine Knot, KY. Pine Knot has a small airport (3000 x 50). AirNav comments for Pine Knot is "unattended." I called the point of contact at Pine Knot & got no response nor a return call. Thus, I flew into Williamsburg. I'M GALD I DID! Outstanding facility and support. Self-serve fuel, crew car & hospitality from Jessica.

Great stop and facilities! Cheap gas (as advertised) in a beautiful setting. Jessica, a friendly co-worker, and some nice dogs met me at the self-serve pump to assist and to chat. Setting a high standard for all GA to follow.

This airport is only 6 years old and is great! Great fuel prices, Great Facility, very friendly folks working hard to let Aviation know they want your business. Wish more Gen Av airports had this attitude.

As I was on approach at the end of a long cross-country flight on 7/31, a voice on Unicom reported that Williamsburg-Whitley County Airport was "bingo for 100LL fuel". I would suggest calling ahead before planning as a refueling stop. Response from Jessica Roberts, Airport Manager, Williamsburg-Whitley County Airport 100LL now available at W38

Very nice stop. I pulled up to self-serve fuel pump and was greeted by attendant who also fueled us while we all made pit stops. Terminal appears new and airport in excellent condition.

This was a GREAT airport to stop at. I stopped in for a meeting in Williamsburg for the day and the staff at the airport was great. No ramp fees and a very clean, new facility. They also have a very nice pilot's lounge. They also have a crew car for trips into town (although I did not need it)
