We stayed a night at the Bedford Landings B&B and I highly recommend it. Airport crew car was checked out when we arrived but the owners of the B&B ensured that we had transportation. Great little airport and the B&B is a must for pilots on this side of the country.

Visited with my Cherokee-6 (PA32-300) for a summer weekend. The airport is the perfect location for visiting the lake. Overnight fee was $15. Self serve fuel on the field worked well. Small FBO let my family use the restroom. Mid-day crosswind landing was tricky because of low-level wind shear due to terrain and trees near the Rwy 23 end of the field. In a 90-degree crosswind, I recommend that you approach from the lake, runway 5: there is less terrain and the runway slopes toward the lake. I plan to return, if I get the chance.
