Many thanks to Jack at OI Realty who cheerfully picked us up and shuttled us back out to our plane June 7 and 14. Bicycles suffice for your transport needs so you don't need a car otherwise. Ocracoke is a great place if you don't care for crowds, miniature golf, chain restaurants, and tacky motels. The beach (all national seashore) is beautiful and uncrowded. Pamlico Sound and the ocean offer great fishing. Zero services at the airport; bring some rope as many are in poor condition.
