Umatilla is a very well maintained municipal airport. The airport has good security if you tie down and the tie down $3. A Beef O'Bradys is a mile from X23 with good grub at reasonable prices. Courtesy car is available, but you should call in advance to arrange. Self-serve pumps are well maintained and worked flawlessly.

Flew in with a group from the Winter Haven Pilots Assoc. I called Jack in advance for transportation options. When we got there two vehicles were waiting for us. GREAT GREAT SERVICE. Also, there fuel is the lowest price within 50 miles. We all fueled up there and Jack was right there to assist if needed. Nice airport with great service and fuel prices. Thanks Jack for making this a great fly out. We will be back soon.

Umatilla was a pleasant surprise with the modern 24-hours fuel service, excellent runway and parking tiedowns. The FBO also has a computer for filing and a courtesy car to go to local restaurants. The 2500-foot runway has runway lights and PAPI lights that illuminate with five clicks on 122.9. Best to call or email in advance if you're going to breakfast or lunch. Suggest the "Mason Jar" for good food & service in clean surroundings. And yes, the 100LL is the cheapest price in Florida.

Stopped in and met Jack and his great crew. Super friendly, accommodating and nicely kept airport. Was impressed with the excellent fuel price and the self-serve was easy to follow. A pleasant surprise came when I picked up the Orlando/Tampa TAC - current and at about half the price of most others! My students will be well aware of Umatilla from now on. Thanks!

What a jewel! A well maintained, municipal airport in a beautiful setting amongst the orange groves of Umatilla. Fuel at $4.70 a gallon!! As the most of the east coast FBO's gouge GA pilots on a routine basis. Great hospitality and a flight school where high school kids learn about flying from a former military helicopter pilot. I felt like I had flown back into an earlier time when America was great and people were honest and gracious. Don't miss the opportunity to visit this airport if you are in the area. Just be mindful of the restricted area to the northeast and be precise on your approach to the 2500 foot runway. ASLIII

Flew in today to check out Umatilla Airport. The runway upgraded and has a great self-serve pump. SS fuel was $4.40/gal and even less with a Shell AV Card.!!!! The facilities are very clean. This airport is going to be very popular...Great facility, people and CHEAP fuel (did I say CHEAP?).... You can't beat it. I'll be back!

Great prices, clean facilities... Nice field. Jack was friendly and helpful. Watch for trucks nearby... Construction on a paved taxiway and parking apron has begun.

Nice facility and Jerry was a pleasure to meet and talk with!! If you have tip tanks you will probably have to pull straight into the pumps and then push back when finished fueling. Hose is rather short, would not reach out to far tip tank for myself.

Flew in to check out the airport for future Pilot Assoc. Fly-outs. The service from Jerry was excellent. Good food at Stanna's restaurant and cheap fuel prior to leaving. Will be back.

Great place to stop in for competitive fuel prices. Talked to Jerry with Aero Fuel. He is committed to general aviation and wants the word to get out. They just put the pump in during February and everything is shiny new.

Great little airport and brand new pump. Easy to get in and out of. The spring tension of the hose real is strong so hang on to that with two hands.

Stopped in twice in one day (out bound and inbound) - price was great did not have to fly far. I believe X23 could become a great friend and asset to GA in Central Florida. Facilities are clean - brand new fuel equipment. I met the city manager there and was glad to know that GA just might have a friend again. Could become a great place to fly to, fuel, hang out and watch airplanes. ;)
